Persuasion (EP)
This is the discography of West German electro singer and songwriter Billie Ray Martin. Following her time with Electribe 101 during the 1980s and early 1990s, Billie embarked on a solo career in 1993. Following the release of her first solo single "Persuasion", she had some chart success throughout the remaining 1990s including her biggest hit to date " Your Loving Arms", a top 10 hit in the UK, Ireland and various US dance charts. Since 2000, though Billie has had very limited commercial success, she has continued producing and releasing studio albums and singles worldwide. Billie Ray Martin
Birgit Dieckmann, known professionally as Billie Ray Martin, is a German singer and songwriter, known for her single "Your Loving Arms", which reached the top 10 of both the UK Singles Chart (#6) and the Irish Singles Chart (#8) in 1995, and reached number one on the US Dance Club Chart. She was also one of the vocalists on the S'Express UK top 10 hit single "Hey Music Lover" (1989), and had UK top 40 hits as lead vocalist of Electribe 101 with "Tell Me When the Fever Ended" (1989) and "Talking with Myself" (1990), and as a solo singer with "Running Around Town" (1995) and "Imitation of Life" (1996). Running Around Town
"Running Around Town" is a song by German artist Billie Ray Martin, the former lead singer of Electribe 101, and was released in 1995 as the second single from her debut solo album, ''Deadline for My Memories'' (1995). Written by Martin, it reached moderate success on the charts in Europe, peaking at number ten in Italy, number 19 in Finland and number 29 in the UK. It also reached number three on the US ''Billboard (magazine), Billboard'' Hot Dance Club Play chart and number 22 on the ''Billboard'' Dance/Electronic Songs, Dance Sales chart. A music video was also produced to promote the single. Critical reception John Bush from AllMusic described the song as "magical" electro-pop. Above & Beyond are an electronic music group consisting of English DJs Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness and Finnish DJ Paavo Siljamäki. Roger Sanchez
Roger Sanchez (born June 1, 1967) is a Dominican-American house music DJ, remixer and producer. He won a Grammy Award for his remix of "Hella Good" by No Doubt in 2003, and is best known for his song " Another Chance", which was an international hit in 2001. He is a four time DJ Awards winner for "Best House DJ" in 1999, 2002, 2004 and 2007 and has received twelve nominations in total. Brothers in Rhythm are a British electronic music group comprising Dave Seaman, Steve Anderson and Alan Bremner. The group was originally a duo comprising Seaman and Anderson, with Bremner joining later in 1999. Junior Vasquez (born Donald Gregory Mattern, August 24, 1949) is an American DJ, record producer and remixer. He has been referred to as one of the only DJs of his time to gain international attention. Career Mattern moved to New York City as a young man of 25 in 1971 with ambitions of becoming a fashion designer, briefly attending Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and working for a while as a hairdresser. Mattern soon became fascinated with NYC nightlife especially the work of DJ Larry Levan at the Paradise Garage. Aérea Negrot
Aérea Negrot (9 October 1980 – 11 October 2023) was a Venezuelan performer, singer, electronic musician and remixer. She lived in Berlin, Germany. Her name was inspired by her fascination with travels and planes and her admiration of the voices of Toña La Negra and Olga Guillot. Her music is a pastiche of electronica, techno, cabaret and pop.
