Lincoln Heights (TV Series)
''Lincoln Heights'' is an American family film, family drama television series about Eddie Sutton, a Mission Vista police officer who moves his family back to his old neighborhood, Lincoln Heights, Los Angeles, Lincoln Heights in the city of Los Angeles, California, to start a new life and to help out his old neighborhood. It is a dangerous place to raise a family, and through the many trials the family goes through, they soon learn that settling in is not as easy as it seems. While Officer Sutton struggles to cope with everyday life as a street cop in Los Angeles, his kids try to fit in at their new schools and with their new neighbors. The show premiered January 8, 2007 on the Freeform (TV channel), ABC Family network with 13 episodes ordered for the first season. Kevin Hooks (born September 19, 1958) is an American actor, and a television and film director; he is notable for his roles in ''Aaron Loves Angela'' and '' Sounder'', but may be best known as Morris Thorpe from TV's '' The White Shadow''. Early life and acting career Kevin Hooks was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the son of Yvonne, a state employee, and Robert Hooks, a director and actor who starred in many films in the 1970s. Kevin's nickname among his friends is "King Royal". Hooks lived in Southwest, Washington, D.C. in the late-1970s. He attended Potomac High School in Oxon Hill, Maryland. Jesse John Bochco (born March 2, 1975) is an American television director and producer. He is the son of television producer/writer Steven Bochco and actress Barbara Bosson. Career In 1982, Bochco had his first and only acting role as Frank Furillo Jr. on the series ''Hill Street Blues'', produced by his father. Andy Wolk is an American television and theatre director.
