Personal Submarine
A personal submarine is a submarine, usually privately funded and constructed, which is usually primarily intended for recreational use. Some are also used for scientific or military purposes. Other uses include tourism, filming, water sporting, rescuing and spying. Some are as long as with capacity to stay underwater for several weeks (e.g. Migaloo submarine yacht). Those personal submarines which are available for sale cost from US$16,000 to 2+ Billion USD. A wide range of them is available from 1-person to 34+ occupants, some can go just 12 meters underwater and some can even reach to Mariana Trench. Such submarines can be designed from scratch by the builder or built to available plans. Personal Submersibles Organization
The Personal Submersibles Organization (PSUBS) is an internet based society for hobbyists interested in small privately owned manned or unmanned submarines. History In 1996, sporadic discussions about submarines in the rec.boats.building electronic newsgroup were moved to private email between four primary participants. Jon Wallace and Ray Keefer, two original participants, decided to create a website and set up a listserver. In February 1997 the first archiving of PSUBS discussions began with a total of six people registered. In October 1997, the domain name PSUBS.ORG was secured for the organization. Wallace and Keefer performed moderator duties and also provided technical expertise, plus funding, to keep the web server and listserver operating. In 2007 Wallace and Keefer incorporated the organization under the name PSUBS LLC. In 2009, PSUBS began offering formal memberships to participants . Submarine

Wet Nellie
Wet Nellie is a custom-built submarine, created for the 1977 ''James Bond'' film '' The Spy Who Loved Me'' in the shape of a Lotus Esprit S1 sports car. The Esprit was chosen to give James Bond a glamorous car to drive. "Wet Nellie" is named in reference to Little Nellie, an autogyro featured in the ''James Bond'' film '' You Only Live Twice'', which was itself named after actress and comedian Nellie Wallace. Construction The submarine does not maintain a dry interior, and thus is a "wet sub" that requires occupants to don scuba gear. It was built by Perry Oceanographic, Inc., of Riviera Beach, Florida, United States, specifically for the film, using a Lotus Esprit S1 bodyshell, for about $100,000 at the time. Midget Submarine
A midget submarine (also called a mini submarine) is any submarine under 150 tons, typically operated by a crew of one or two but sometimes up to six or nine, with little or no on-board living accommodation. They normally work with mother ships, from which they are launched and recovered and which provide living accommodation for the crew and support staff. Both military and civilian midget submarines have been built. Military types work with surface ships and other submarines as mother ships. The K-250 submarine is usually configured to be a one-person personal submarine that is rated to go down to 250 fsw. The sub was designed by retired US Navy World War II submarine captain George Kittredge. It is a basic solid submarine that has been used by researchers, salvage divers, and private enthusiasts. DeepFlight Super Falcon
The DeepFlight Super Falcon is a personal submarine designed by Graham Hawkes, a former civilian ocean engineer. It was hoped that the technology used in this submersible would allow travel to the deepest parts of the ocean. Development The Super Falcon was designed by Graham Hawkes.
