Chad Person (born 1978) is an American contemporary artist primarily known for his sculptural and collage works. Work His project: RECESS (resource exhaustion crisis evacuation safety shelter) is an example of his conceptual approach. In this ongoing project, Person undertakes a DIY conversion of a swimming pool into a bomb shelter / survival bunker, highlighting the potentially negative outcomes of maintaining a hardcore survivalist mentality. The intentionally controversial subject matter in project RECESS led Asylum to label Person "the most paranoid man in America". Chuck Connors Person (born June 28, 1964) is an American former basketball player and coach. Person played 14 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and was the 1987 NBA Rookie of the Year. Person played college basketball at Auburn University and was selected fourth overall in the 1986 NBA draft by the Indiana Pacers, for whom he played six seasons. He also played for the Minnesota Timberwolves, San Antonio Spurs, Charlotte Hornets and Seattle SuperSonics. Houston Person (born November 10, 1934) is an American jazz tenor saxophonist and record producer. Although he has performed in the hard bop and swing genres, he is most experienced in and best known for his work in soul jazz. He received the ‘Eubie Blake Jazz Award’ in 1982. Biography Person grew up in Florence, South Carolina, and first played piano before switching to tenor saxophone. He studied at South Carolina State College where he was inducted into the school's Hall of Fame in 1999. In the United States Air Force, he joined a service band stationed in West Germany, and played with Don Ellis, Eddie Harris, Cedar Walton, and Leo Wright.
