Perihan Topaloğlu
Perihan Topaloğlu Acar (born Topaloğlu on August 31, 1987) is a Turkish women's handballer, who plays in the Turkish Women's Handball Super League for Ardeşen GSK, and the Turkey national team. She is the captain of both teams. The -tall sportswoman plays in the left back position. Private life Perihan Topaloğlu was born to Gürsel Topaloğlu in Bartın, Turkey on August 31, 1987. Her father died at a traffic accident in January 2014. She studied at Kastamonu University, and played for the university team during this time. In September 2015, she married Doğan Acar, a footballer of the Ardeşenspor. Bartın is a city in northern Turkey and the central district of the province of Bartın. Formerly a district of Zonguldak Province, Bartın was made into a province seat in 1991 with the constitution of its province, including four districts: Central Bartın, Amasra, Kurucaşile, and Ulus. 2015 World Women's Handball Championship – European Qualification
The European qualification for the 2015 World Women's Handball Championship, in Denmark was played over two rounds. The 2015 hosts Denmark were qualified automatically for the World Championship. In the first round of qualification, 14 teams who were not participating at the 2014 European Championship were split into four groups.
