"Perfect" is a song by English singer Anne-Marie from her 2018 album ''Speak Your Mind''. It was remixed and retitled "Perfect to Me" when released as a single on 2 November 2018. Scoop.co.nz reported the release of the song in mid-October, before Anne-Marie officially announced it on 31 October. Critical reception ''News.com.au'' called the track "body positive" and said Anne-Marie had been striking a "resounding chord" with tracks like "Perfect". '' GQ'' reviewed Anne-Marie's live performance of the song at a Rough Trade store in Brooklyn, saying "she begins shouting her insecurities to the audience: about wanting longer legs, never fitting in, and eating copious amounts of dessert. Rough Trade (shops)
Rough Trade is a group of independent record shops in the United Kingdom and the United States with headquarters in London. The first Rough Trade shop was opened in 1976 by Geoff Travis in the Ladbroke Grove district of West London. Travis reportedly took the name from the Canadian art punk/ new wave band Rough Trade. In 1978, the shop spawned Rough Trade Records, which became the label of bands from The Smiths to The Libertines. In 1982, the two separated and the shop remains an independent entity from the label, although links between the two are strong. Anne-Marie announced the album on 21 February 2018 and it was made available for pre-order two days later. The album was preceded by the release of seven singles and features collaborations with Marshmello, Clean Bandit, David Guetta and Sean Paul. The album received generally favourable reviews and was a commercial success, peaking at number 3 in both the UK Albums ( OCC) chart and the Scottish Albums ( OCC) chart.
