Pärtel-Peeter Pere
Pärtel-Peeter Pere (born 19 December 1985) is an Estonian entrepreneur, urban strategist, and politician, representing the Estonian Reform Party (Estonian: ''Eesti Reformierakond''). Following the 2023 Estonian parliamentary election, he was elected to the Riigikogu. Biography Pärtel-Peeter Pere was born in Tallinn. He attended Gustav Adolf Grammar School, graduating in 2005. In 2009, he graduated from Tallinn University, with a bachelor's degree in Swedish language and culture theory. In 2009, he enrolled at the Academy of Music of Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, Belgium, studying jazz guitar and jazz piano, graduating in 2014. From 2013 until 2015, he was the Head of Office and policy advisor of Indrek Tarand at the European Parliament in Brussels. Rose Pere
Rangimārie Te Turuki Arikirangi Rose Pere (25 July 1937 – 13 December 2020) was a New Zealand educationalist, spiritual leader, Māori language advocate, academic and conservationist. Of Māori descent, she affiliated with the iwi Ngāi Tūhoe, Ngāti Ruapani and Ngāti Kahungunu. Her influences spread throughout New Zealand in education and well-being and she was renowned on the international stage as an expert in indigenous knowledge. Biography Pere was born in Ruatahuna in the Bay of Plenty on 25 July 1937. For her first seven years she lived with her maternal grandparents southeast of Waikaremoana. From 1944 she attended Kokako Native School. Between 1956 and 1957 she went to Wellington Teachers' College and obtained a New Zealand Teacher's Certificate. Wi Pere
Wiremu "Wi" Pere (7 March 1837 – 9 December 1915), was a Māori Member of Parliament in New Zealand. He represented Eastern Māori in the House of Representatives from 1884 to 1887, and again from 1893 to 1905. Pere's strong criticism of the government's Māori land policies and his involvement in the turbulent land wars in the 1860s and 1870s made him a revered Māori leader and he was known throughout his career as an contentious debator and outstanding orator in the use of the Māori language. Pere Wihongi
Pere Te Ruru o te Ramana Wihongi (born ), sometimes known mononymously as PERE, is a New Zealand musician, voice actor, choreographer, and kapa haka performer. She is part of the award-winning music groups Maimoa and Te Kākano. Early life Wihongi was born and raised in Herekino. The family moved to Auckland when Wihongi was 9, and she began attending the Te Kura Kaupapa Māori ā Rohe o Māngere Kura Kaupapa Māori, immersion school. While there she competed in and won the Ngā Manu Kōrero speech competition. She then attended South Seas Film & Television School to pursue a career in television.
