The New Norfolk District Football Club, nicknamed ''The Eagles'', is an Australian rules football club currently playing in the Southern Football League, in Tasmania, Australia. History Origins The club was founded in 1878 with the first premiership won in 1891 under the name "Derwent Football Club", which would last until the late 1890s. The Richmond Football Club, nicknamed the Tigers, is an Australian rules football team playing in the Australian Football League (AFL). Between its inception in the Melbourne suburb of Richmond in 1885 and 1907, the club competed in the Victorian Football Association (VFA), winning two premierships.
