Peranbu
''Peranbu'' (; released internationally as ''Resurrection''), is a 2018 Indian Tamil-language film written and directed by Ram and produced by P. L. Thenappan under Shree Rajalakshmi Films. It stars Mammootty, and Anjali. The film's score and soundtrack album is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, with cinematography and editing handled by Theni Eswar and Surya Pradhaman respectively. It follows the story of a confused father, who is dejected after his wife abandons him and their child, who has cerebral palsy, struggles to take care of his daughter while society constantly rejects him. Director Ram worked on the script for almost six years, and narrated to Mammooty in February 2015, although production being further delayed, after the team decided to finalise the cast and crew. Theni Eswar (cinematographer)
Eswaran Ramar, known by his screen name Theni Eswar, is an Indian cinematographer who works mainly in Tamil cinema and Malayalam cinema. Early life Eswar grew up in Theni completing his schooling and he graduated in diploma in automobile engineering. In his college days he took up photography, which led to a career. He went on to receive a Kodak Award for street photography. He spent most of his early life in Theni before moving to Chennai. Film career Eswar moved to Chennai to start his career as a cinematographer. He also shot the photographs for Vairamuthu novels including kallikattu ithigasam, Karuvaachi kaaviyam, and Tamizhatrupadai. Muhammad Kutty Panaparambil Ismail (; born 7 September 1951), known mononymously by the hypocorism Mammootty (), is an Indian actor and film producer who works predominantly in Malayalam cinema, Malayalam films. He has also appeared in Tamil language, Tamil, Telugu language, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, and English-language productions. In a career spanning five decades, he has acted in over 400 films. Ram (director)
Ram is an Indian film director, who works in Tamil cinema. After assisting Hindi directors Rajkumar Santoshi and working under Balu Mahendra, he made his directorial debut with ''Kattradhu Thamizh'' (2007), which fetched him strong critical acclaim. His second film ''Thanga Meengal'' (2013) also won critical praise and three National Film Awards. Yuvan Shankar Raja
Yuvan Shankar Raja or Abdul Haliq (born 31 August 1979) is an Indian film score and soundtrack composer and singer-songwriter. He mainly scores music for Tamil films. Considered a versatile composer, he is particularly known for his use of Western music elements and often credited with having introduced hip hop to the Tamil film and music industry and started the "era of remixes" in Tamil Nadu. Poo Ramu (1962 – 27 June 2022) was an Indian actor who appeared in Tamil language films as a supporting actor. Career Ramu was a member of the Tamil Nadu Progressive Writers’ Association, and from 1990 to 2005, Ramu was a part of the theatre group Chennai Kalai Kuzhu.
