Per Sundnes
Per André Sundnes (born June 16, 1966 in Bodø) is a Norwegian journalist and talk show host. He is often described as a trend and pop culture expert with a particular interest for music and fashion. Eurovision commentator In autumn 2006 it became known that Sundnes from 2007 would take over the job as the commentator in Melodi Grand Prix and the Norwegian commentator for the Eurovision Song Contest, after Jostein Pedersen. Sundnes' first shows were the Melodi Grand Prix 2007 and the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 in Helsinki, Finland. It was announced in December 2007 that Sundnes would not be commentating the 2008 Eurovision finals. The reason given was that both Sundnes and previous commentator Jostein Pedersen were strong personalities with a colorful language, and NRK wanted someone more anonymous, as they didn't want the commentator to overshadow the songs in the competition. Bodø
Bodø (; smj, Bådåddjo, sv, Bodö) is a municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is part of the traditional region of Salten. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Bodø (which is also the capital of Nordland county). Melodi Grand Prix 2009
Norway participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 with the song "Fairytale" written and performed by Alexander Rybak. NRK organised the national final ''Melodi Grand Prix 2009'' in order to select the Norwegian entry for the 2009 contest in Moscow, Russia. "Fairytale" performed by Alexander Rybak was selected as the winner with the clearest victory in ''Melodi Grand Prix'' to date following a five-week-long competition consisting of three semi-finals, a Last Chance round and the final. Norway was drawn to compete in the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest which took place on 14 May 2009. Performing during the show in position 6, "Fairytale" was announced among the top 10 entries of the second semi-final and therefore qualified to compete in the final on 16 May. Anne Elgård Rimmen (born 11 September 1981 in Denmark) is a presenter and former sports anchor for NRK Sport. She was born in Denmark, but moved to Norway as a three-year-old. She is the domestic partner of Ailo Gaup, and together they have a son and a daughter. Rimmen studied journalism at University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. Norway participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 with the song "My Heart Is Yours" written by Hanne Sørvaag and Fredrik Kempe. The song was performed by Didrik Solli-Tangen.
