Per Møystad Backe
Per Møystad Backe (2 December 1914 – 19 August 1991) was a Norwegian jurist and industrial leader. He was born in Hammerfest. He was a central person in the development of the Scandinavian Airlines from 1946. From 1959 to 1968 he was manager of Dalen Portland Cementfabrik. He chaired the board of Norcem from 1968 to 1983, as well as Viking–Askim from 1970. He was decorated Knight, First Class of the Order of St. Olav in 1971. Hammerfest (; sme, Hámmerfeasta ) is a municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. Hammerfest is the northernmost town in the world with more than 10,000 inhabitants. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Hammerfest. Some of the main villages in the municipality include Rypefjord, Kvalsund, Forsøl, Hønsebybotn, Akkarfjord i Kvaløya, Akkarfjord i Sørøya, and Kårhamn. Per Adolf Norlin (23 January 1905 – 11 January 1992) was a Swedish businessman. He was CEO of Swedish Intercontinental Airlines (SILA), Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) and AB Aerotransport (ABA). Career Norlin was born in Stockholm, Sweden, the son of Karl Norlin, an office manager, and his wife Ingrid (née Söderman). He passed ''studentexamen'' in 1924 and was CEO of the Swedish Intercontinental Airlines (SILA) from 1943 to 1949. Norlin served as CEO of Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) from 1946 to 1949, vice CEO of AB Aerotransport (ABA) in 1948 and CEO of ABA from 1949 to 1951. Knut Helle
Knut Helle (19 December 1930 – 27 June 2015) was a Norwegian historian. A professor at the University of Bergen from 1973 to 2000, he specialized in the late medieval history of Norway. He has contributed to several large works. Early life, education and marriage He was born in Larvik as the son of school inspector Hermann Olai Helle (1893–1973) and teacher Berta Marie Malm (1906–1991). He was the older brother of politician Ingvar Lars Helle. The family moved to Hetland when Knut Helle was seventeen years old. He took the examen artium in Stavanger in 1949, and a teacher's education in Kristiansand in 1952. He studied philology in Oslo and Bergen, and graduated with the cand.philol. degree in 1957. is the largest Norwegian biographical encyclopedia. The first edition (NBL1) was issued between 1921 and 1983, including 19 volumes and 5,100 articles.
