Pequeños Gigantes (Mexican TV Series)
''Pequeños Gigantes'' (English title: ''Little Giants'') is a Mexican reality talent show that premiered on Las Estrellas 27 March 2011. The talent show televises groups of talented children from various Hispanic countries including the United States (each group comprises four children) competing against each other to receive the highest ranking at the end of each program, and for the first place and the grand prize. Each group has one captain, one singer, and two dancers. Six judges give each child category a rating based from 1 to 10. Hosts and Judges The first season premiered on 27 March 2011 hosted by Galilea Montijo, Jimena Gállego, And Yurem Rojas. The judges were Bianca Marroquín, María José, Manuel "Flaco" Ibáñez, Pierre Angelo, Noel Schajris and Raquel Ortega. A talent show or talent contest is an event in which participants perform the arts of singing, dancing, lip-syncing, acting, martial arts, playing an instrument, poetry, comedy or other activities to showcase skills. Many talent shows are performances rather than contests, but some are actual contests. The Mexican peso (Currency symbol, symbol: $; ISO 4217, currency code: MXN; also abbreviated Mex$ to distinguish it from peso, other peso-denominated currencies; referred to as the peso, Mexican peso, or colloquially varo) is the official currency of Mexico. TV by the Numbers was a website devoted to collecting and analyzing television ratings data in the United States that operated from 2007 to 2020. It was a part of Nexstar Media Group's Zap2it television news/listings site. History An Internet and statistical analyst, Robert Seidman had previously worked for IBM and Charles Schwab, and published an online newsletter about the Internet and AOL before founding TV by the Numbers; Bill Gorman had been an AOL executive until 1998, and had read Seidman's column. Friends since the early 1990s when they met near Washington, D.C., both were fond of television, as Gorman loved numbers and Seidman enjoyed statistics relating to it; the subject of television ratings data entered into one of their conversations. Gloria de los Ángeles Treviño Ruiz (born February 15, 1968), known professionally as Gloria Trevi, is a Mexican singer, songwriter and actress. She is known for her emotional lyrics, performances, and lasting influence on Latin music, being dubbed the "Honorific nicknames in popular music, Mexican Queen of Pop" by ''Rolling Stone''.
