People's Party Of Navarre
The People's Party of Navarre ( es, Partido Popular de Navarra, PP) is the regional section of the People's Party (Spain), People's Party (PP) in Navarre. It was first formed in 1989 from the re-foundation of the People's Alliance (Spain), People's Alliance, and in 1991 it was merged into the Navarrese People's Union (UPN). In 2008, after a crisis erupted between both parties, the PP choose to re-create their regional branch in the community. Ana Beltrán
Ana María Beltrán Villalba (born 16 January 1966) is a Spanish People's Party (Spain), People's Party (PP) politician. She served in the Parliament of Navarre from 2011 to 2019, in which she led her party, and was then elected to the Congress of Deputies. She has been president of the People's Party of Navarre since 2017, and the PP's Vice Secretary of Organisation since 2019. Early and personal life Born in Zaragoza, Aragon, Beltrán graduated with a degree in Tourism and a master's degree in Senior Management from the University of Deusto, as well as a further master's degree in General Management from the IESE Business School of the University of Navarra. Pamplona
Pamplona (; eu, Iruña or ), historically also known as Pampeluna in English, is the capital city of the Chartered Community of Navarre, in Spain. The People's Party ( es, Partido Popular ; known mostly by its acronym, PP ) is a conservative and Christian-democratic political party in Spain. The People's Party was a 1989 re-foundation of People's Alliance (AP), a party led by former minister of the dictatorship Manuel Fraga and founded back in 1976 as alliance of post-Francoist proto-parties. The new party combined the conservative AP with several small Christian democratic and liberal parties (the party call this fusion of views "the Reformist Centre"). The Navarrese People's Union ( es, Unión del Pueblo Navarro), abbreviated to UPN, is a regional conservative political party in Navarre, Spain. Until 2008, it was a fraternal party of the People's Party (PP), acting as the latter's Navarrese branch. UPN is a strong opponent of Basque nationalism, and supports a Spanish regional identity for Navarre with a marginal Basque component and separate from the Basque Country.
