The People's Army for the Restoration of Democracy APRD (fr. ''L’Armée Populaire pour la restauration de la démocratie'') was a Rebellion, rebel group operating in the northwest of the Central African Republic (CAR). The APRD was formed in 2006 following the 2003 Central African Republic coup d'état, 2003 coup which overthrew President Ange-Félix Patassé. It is one of several groups which fought in the 2004-2007 Central African Republic Bush War. Initially claiming it wished to overthrow current Heads of state of the Central African Republic (and Central African Empire), CAR President François Bozizé, the APRD was the last of the three rebel coalitions to engage in the 2007 peace process. The People's Army of Komuch () was an anti-Bolshevik army during the Russian Civil War that fought in the Volga Region from June to September in 1918. It was established by the Socialist Revolutionary Party and led by Vladimir Kappel. Organization In May 1918 the Czechoslovak Legion revolted on the Trans-Siberian Railway. On June 8, the Czech Legion captured Samara, Russia, and several members of the Constituent Assembly, which had been dissolved by the Bolsheviks, organized a Committee of Members of the Constituent Assembly. The New People's Army (; abbreviated NPA or BHB) is the armed wing of the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP). Hukbalahap
The Hukbong Bayan Laban sa Hapon (), better known by the acronym Hukbalahap, was a Filipino communist guerrilla movement formed by the farmers of Central Luzon. They were originally formed to fight the Japanese, but extended their fight into a rebellion against the Philippine government, known as the Hukbalahap rebellion in 1946. It was eventually put down through a series of reforms and military victories by Defense Secretary, and later President, Ramon Magsaysay. The Catalan People's Army (, EPOCA), known by its members as , was a Catalan nationalist paramilitary group which existed during the 1970s. History The group was founded in 1969, as a breakaway group of the National Front of Catalonia. Jaume Martínez Vendrell, the leader of the military wing of the National Front, became its commander. EPOCA trained its militants in urban warfare techniques, smuggling in weaponry from Switzerland. The group came to prominence through a number of assassinations, committed by attaching pressure-triggered bombs to the bodies of their victims, demanding ransoms, and when they weren't received, leaving the bombs to explode, killing their victims in the process.
