Pentagón Dark
Pentagón is a lucha libre, or professional wrestling, persona also referred to as a gimmick that has been portrayed by a number of different people over the years. The gimmick was created as an Evil twin of professional wrestler Octagón and is always a ''rudo'', or heel character (a character portraying the "bad guy" in wrestling.) The gimmick was created by AAA owner Antonio Peña in 1995, giving AAA the rights to the name "Pentagón", which meant that when wrestlers who played Pentagón left AAA they had to modify the name such as "Pentagón Black". There have been at least three distinctive versions of Pentagón Following the introduction of the Pentagón persona Peña also introduced Pentagoncito, a '' Mini-Estrellas'' of Pentagón to act as the protagonist against the ''Mini-Estrella'' Octagoncito. Lucha Libre
Lucha libre (, meaning "freestyle wrestling" or literally translated as "free fight") is the term used in Latin America for professional wrestling. Since its introduction to Mexico in the early 20th century, it has developed into a unique form of the genre, characterized by colorful masks, rapid sequences of holds and maneuvers, and "high-flying" maneuvers, some of which have been adopted in the United States, Japan, and elsewhere. The wearing of masks has developed special significance, and matches are sometimes contested in which the loser must permanently remove his mask, which is a wager with a high degree of weight attached. Tag team wrestling is especially prevalent in lucha libre, particularly matches with three-member teams, called ''trios''. Adolfo Margarito Tapia Ibarra (November 14, 1965) is a Mexican ''luchador enmascarado'' ( masked professional wrestler), who currently performs as L. A. Park for Major League Wrestling in the United States, where he is a former MLW World Tag Team Champion. He also performs for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA) in Mexico. He is best known throughout the world as La Parka, especially from his many years in the American World Championship Wrestling promotion. Erick Francisco Casas Ruiz (born October 4, 1970) is a Mexican professional wrestler currently working under the ring name Heavy Metal for AAA. He is the son of referee Pepe Casas and part of the Casas wrestling family; the brother of Negro Casas and Felino. Rey De Reyes (1997)
The Rey de Reyes 1997 (Spanish for "King of Kings") was the first annual Rey de Reyes professional wrestling tournament and major wrestling show, produced by the Mexican wrestling promotion AAA. The event took place on February 21, 1997 in the Convention Center in Ciudad Madero, Tamaulipas, Mexico. The Rey de Reyes tournament consisted of a semi-final round of four four-man elimination matches and a final match with the winners of each of the semi-finals facing off in an elimination match until only one man remained. The show also featured a '' Mini-Estrella'' Six-man "Lucha Libre rules" tag team match between the teams of Mini Goldust, Mini Mankind and Mini Vader going against La Parkita, Mini Nova and Super Muñequito. Salvador Munguia (born November 30 in Mexico City, Mexico) is a Mexican ''luchador'', or professional wrestler retired, currently working for the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) portraying a '' tecnico'' ("Good guy") wrestling character Metálico. Metálico originally worked under a mask and his real name was not a matter of public record, as is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico where their private lives are kept a secret from the wrestling fans, but he was forced to unmask after losing a match in August 2014. Fuerza Guerrera (born December 13, 1953) is a Mexican ''Luchador enmascarado'' (or masked professional wrestler) who made his debut in 1978.
