	Ron Peno Ronald "Ron" Stephen Peno (born mid 1950s), who also performed as Ronnie Pop, is an Australian rock singer, he fronted Died Pretty, from 1984 to 2002, he was a member of early punk band the Hellcats (1976–77), and followed with the 31st (in Brisbane, 1979–81) and Screaming Tribesmen (1981). Biography Ron Peno was born in the mid 1950s in Gosford. He attended secondary school in Narrabri where he made up a band name, Virgin Frogs, he later explained " twas just something I had in the country, I made up a band name. 	Peno, Russia Peno (russian: Пе́но) is an urban-type settlement and the administrative center of Penovsky District of Tver Oblast, Russia. It is located between Lake Peno and Lake Volgo, both located in the course of the Volga River and belonging to Upper Volga Reservoir. Population: History Peno was founded in the 1900s as a settlement to serve the railway station. It was located in Ostashkovsky Uyezd of Tver Governorate. From 1924, the settlement of Peno was made a center of a volost. In 1926, Peno was granted urban-type settlement status. On 1 October 1929, governorates and uyezds were abolished, and Penovsky District with the administrative center in the settlement of Peno was established. 	Lake Peno Lake Peno (russian: Озеро Пено) is a lake in Penovsky District of Tver Oblast, Russia. The Volga River flows through the lake in its upper course. The area of the lake is . Lake Vselug is the third one of four big lakes which make together Upper Volga Reservoir and which constitute the only remaining large natural lake system on the Volga. The other three lakes of the system are Lake Volgo, Lake Vselug, and Lake Sterzh. Lake Peno is located downstream of Lake Vselug and upstream of Lake Volgo. The lake is oriented north to south and is separated from the adjacent lakes by short stretches of the Volga. The northern end of the lake is located by the village of Zabelino.
