Tinicum Township, more popularly known as "Tinicum Island" or "The Island", is a township in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. The Baltimore Pike was an auto trail connecting Baltimore, Maryland, with Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Today, parts of the road are signed as U.S. Route 1 (US 1), US 13, and a small portion of Pennsylvania Route 41 (PA 41). A section of the road within the city limits of Philadelphia and surrounding boroughs is known as Baltimore Avenue, although locals are known to call the Delaware County portion "Baltimore Pike". Morton Station
Morton station, also known as Morton–Rutledge station, is a SEPTA Regional Rail station in Morton, Pennsylvania. Located at Yale and Morton Avenues, it serves the Media/Wawa Line. While the south, inbound platform of the station is in Morton Borough, the north, outbound side is in Springfield Township. Both dollar-a-day and permit parking are available. Media/Wawa Line
The Media/Wawa Line is a SEPTA Regional Rail service that runs from Center City Philadelphia west to Wawa in Delaware County. It uses the West Chester Branch, which connects with the SEPTA Main Line at 30th Street Station. Under the Pennsylvania Railroad, service continued to West Chester, Pennsylvania. The Philadelphia Subdivision is a railroad line owned and operated by CSX Transportation in the U.S. states of Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland. Prospect Park station (also known as Prospect Park–Moore station) is a station along the SEPTA Wilmington/Newark Line and Amtrak Northeast Corridor.
