Pennsylvania Route 426 (PA 426) is a state highway in Warren and Erie counties of Pennsylvania. The route is split up into two segments, connected by New York State Route 426 (NY 426) through New York. The southern terminus is at PA 27 in Pittsfield Township and the northern terminus is at PA 89 in North East. Route description PA 426 begins at an intersection with PA 27 west of Pittsfield and north of Garland in Pittsfield Township. The route heads northwest through rural Warren County, intersecting Old PA 77 (also formerly known as PA 277) at Spring Creek on its way to the Erie County line and the city of Corry beyond. PA 426, now East Main Street, proceeds west through southern Corry to an intersection with PA 77 (West Main Street) at Center Street. The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) oversees transportation issues in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania Route 177 (PA 177) is a state highway located in York County, Pennsylvania. The southern terminus is an intersection with PA 74 and Township Route 4026 (Old York Road) in Rossville. From this intersection, PA 177 bisects the southwestern portion of Pinchot Lake and continues along the northwestern side of Gifford Pinchot State Park. Just south of Lewisberry, PA 177 intersects PA 382 and marks the northern terminus of PA 392 to the north of town. The northern terminus is at PA 262 between Yocumtown and Frogtown, just after an interchange with Interstate 83 (I-83). The northernmost portion of what would become PA 177 along Old York Road became part of the Susquehanna Trail in 1920, PA 4 in 1924, and U.S. Route 111 (US 111) in 1926. Pennsylvania Route 26 (PA 26) is a highway in the south-central area of Pennsylvania. Its northern terminus is at PA 150 northwest of Howard; its southern terminus is at the Maryland state line near Barnes Gap in Union Township. Two major destinations along this route are Raystown Lake near Huntingdon and the Pennsylvania State University at State College. In State College, the road divides into a one-way pair, going northbound on Beaver Avenue and going southbound on College Avenue. The Centre Area Transportation Authority uses these two routes for their Campus Loop and the Town Loop. Breezewood, Pennsylvania
Breezewood is an unincorporated town in East Providence Township, Bedford County in south-central Pennsylvania. Along a traditional pathway for Native Americans, European settlers, and British troops during colonial times, in the early 20th century, the small valley that became known as Breezewood was a popular stopping place for automobile travelers on the Lincoln Highway, beginning in 1913. Greyhound Lines opened a Post House facility in the town in 1935; it closed in 2004. In 1940, Breezewood was designated exit 6 on the just-opened Pennsylvania Turnpike. In the 1960s, Breezewood became the junction of the Turnpike and the new Interstate 70. Later renumbered exit 12, it is now exit 161 on the Turnpike following a change to mileage-based exit numbering.
