Penn Manor High School is a large, rural/suburban, public secondary school located in Millersville, Pennsylvania, United States. It is the sole high school operated by the Penn Manor School District. In the 2018–2019 school year, enrollment was reported as 1,636 pupils in 9th through 12th grades. In 2011 Penn Manor School District was recognized as a School of Excellence in Technology by the Pennsylvania School Boards Association. Virtual High School is available to students in 7th-12th grades. Students who meet graduation requirements receive a Penn Manor diploma. By Pennsylvania law, all Penn Manor Virtual School students have full access to participate in Penn Manor School District's extracurricular activities. Millersville is a borough in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, United States. At the 2020 census the population was 7,629 and in 2021 it was estimated at 7,593. Geography Millersville is located in central Lancaster County at (40.006148, -76.351349). It is southwest of Lancaster, the county seat. Block Schedule
Block scheduling or blocking is a type of academic scheduling used in schools in the American K-12 system, in which each pupil has fewer classes per day. It is more common in middle and high schools than in primary schools. Each class is scheduled for a longer period of time than normal (e.g. 90 minutes instead of 50). In one form of block scheduling, a single class will meet every day for a number of days, after which another class will take its place. In another form, daily classes rotate through a changing daily cycle.
