Rudimentary Peni
Rudimentary Peni are a British anarcho-punk band formed in 1980, emerging from the London anarcho-punk scene. Lead singer/guitarist Nick Blinko is notorious for his witty, macabre lyrics and dark pen-and-ink artwork, prominently featured on all of Rudimentary Peni's albums. Bassist Grant Matthews has also written several songs for the band, though his lyrics primarily focus on sociopolitical themes. Very few photos exist of the band, as their albums feature Blinko's drawings instead, but Pushead published a few in an early edition of his magazine. History Rudimentary Peni were formed in June 1980 in Abbots Langley, Hertfordshire by Blinko (vocals, guitar), Greville (drums) and Matthews (bass). Ratu Peni Tagive (born 3 October 1988) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played for the Sydney Roosters in the Australian National Rugby League (NRL) competition. Tagive primarily played on the . Although a large winger, Tagive was a speedy athlete, recording 6.79 seconds over 60 metres. Tagive's parents are Fijian and African-American. He is the older brother of rugby league & union player Ratu Tagive. Early life Tagive was born in Campbelltown, New South Wales. Tagive played junior football with the East Campbelltown Eagles. Peni Terepo (born 21 November 1991) is a Tonga former international rugby league footballer who played as a and for the Parramatta Eels in the NRL. Background Terepo was born in Auckland, New Zealand, and is of Cook Islands and Tongan descent. Terepo played his junior football for the Mangere East Hawks before being signed by the Parramatta Eels. Playing career Terepo played for the Eels NYC team between 2009 and 2011. The Astures or Asturs, also named Astyrs, were the Hispano-Celtic inhabitants of the northwest area of Hispania that now comprises almost the entire modern autonomous community of Principality of Asturias, the modern province of León, and the northern part of the modern province of Zamora (all in Spain), and eastern Trás os Montes in Portugal.
