Pendli Pilipu
''Pendli Pilupu'' () is a 1961 Indian Telugu-language drama film, produced by D. Bhavanarayana and directed by A. V. Seshagiri Rao. It stars N. T. Rama Rao and Devika with music composed by K. Prasada Rao. ''Pendli Pilupu'' and ''Indrajeet'' released on the same day, both starring Rama Rao. Plot The film begins with Anasuyamma (Kannamba) moving to ''Pushkara Snanam'' a sacred bath at the seashore, with her daughter Radha, nephews Raghu & Madhu, where Radha is lost due to Madhu's fault for which Anasuyamma neck outs him. Radha is adopted by a couple, Siva Rao (K. V. S. Sarma) & his wife (Hemalatha), and changes her name to Anuradha. Years roll by, and fortunately, Anuradha (Devika) & Madhu (N. T. Acharya Aatreya (born Kilambi Venkata Narasimhacharyulu ) (7 May 1921 – 13 September 1989) was an Indian poet, lyricist, playwright, and screenwriter known for his works in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre. He received the state Nandi Award for Best Lyricist in 1981 for "Andamaina Lokamani" from the film Tholi Kodi Koosindi, ''Tholikoodi Koosindi''. He is popularly known as ''Manasu Kavi (''). Madhavapeddi Satyam (11 March 1922 – 18 December 2000) was an Indian playback singer and actor who predominantly worked in Telugu cinema. He entered films as a singer-actor in Y. V. Rao's Tamil-Hindi bilingual movie ''Ramadas'' in the year 1946, playing the role of Kabir. However, he became more popular as a playback singer due to his booming voice. His voice suited artists like S. V. Ranga Rao, Relangi and Ramana Reddy. He also sang for others like Akkineni Nageswara Rao, N.T. Rama Rao, Jaggayya and Padmanabham. Pillavalu Gajapathy Krishnaveni (3 November 1935 – 16 August 2004), more famously known as Jikki, was an Indian playback singer from Andhra Pradesh. She sang around 10,000 songs in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, and Sinhalese languages. Early life Jikki was born in Chennai on 3 November 1935. Ghantasala Venkateswararao (4 December 1922 – 11 February 1974), known mononymously by his surname as Ghantasala, was an Indian playback singer and film composer known for his works predominantly in Telugu and Kannada cinema and also in Tamil, Malayalam, Tulu and Hindi language films.
