Albert Pendarvis
Albert Pendarvis is more commonly known as The Old Trailblazer which is the name of a Christian radio broadcast on which he is heard. Pendarvis is the Pastor of Radio Missions, a Ministry formerly based in Algiers, New Orleans, United States. The founder of this Ministry was L. R. Shelton Sr.; Pendarvis is the fifth Pastor of the work. The overall Ministry is named Radio Missions. The church itself is called the First Baptist Church of Algiers. The church formerly met in the Metropolitan Tabernacle (a former vaudeville theater in Algiers). Two international radio broadcasts (in America, Northern Ireland, and now shortwave) originate from the Ministry: the Voice of Truth (a weekly thirty-minute broadcast of Shelton Sr.'s messages) and the Old Trailblazer (a weekday 15-minute broadcast by Pendarvis). Janice Gadsden Pendarvis is an American singer, songwriter, and voiceover artist. She has worked with artists such as Sting, David Bowie, Steely Dan, Peter Tosh, Brandy, the O'Jays, Philip Glass, Jimmy Cliff, Laurie Anderson, the Naked Brothers Band, and the Rolling Stones. Leroy Leon Pendarvis (born 1945) is an American session musician. He plays keyboards and is a background vocalist. He is also an occasional guitarist. Paul Pendarvis (born Paul Plumley Pendarvis; 2 December 1907 Enid, Oklahoma – 13 January 1987 Palmdale, California) was an American violinist and big band leader popular in the swing era. Career Pendarvis was born in Enid, Oklahoma. After completing his junior year (11th grade) at Enid High School in 1924, he transferred to Santa Monica High School, graduating in 1925. He went on to attend the University of California, Los Angeles. Pendarvis worked in business and had minor roles in silent films, then moved to Kansas City, Missouri, where he assembled a dance band that quickly found success. Pendarvis's band received radio airplay in the Kansas City area and worked regionally as a territory band in Kansas and the Midwest, including bookings at the Congress Hotel in Chicago. Pendarvis Williams (born November 13, 1991) is an American basketball player for the Erdenet Miners of the Mongolian National League. He played college basketball for Norfolk State University, where in the 2012–13 season he was named an honorable mention All-American.MBA ERDENET MINERS Early life and college career Williams, a 6'6" guard from Philadelphia, committed to Norfolk State where as a sophomore, he scored 20 points in the Spartans' 86–84 upset of number 2 seed Missouri in the 2012 NCAA Tournament. As a junior, after the loss of All-American Kyle O'Quinn, the Spartans were not expected to contend for the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference championship. But Williams stepped up his performance, averaging 14.3 points and 4.3 rebounds per game. He led the Spartans to a 16–0 record and won conference Player of the Year honors.
