Yang Berhormat Haji Anuar bin Abdul Manap is a Malaysian politician. He is a member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) in Malaysia's Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition. Anuar was also the Member of Parliament (MP) for Sekijang in Johor from 2013 to 2018. Early days He was born in Kampung Layang-layang, Kluang, Johor on 30 December 1976. The Malaysian United Indigenous Party ( ms, Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia), abbreviated BERSATU or PPBM, is a nationalist political party in Malaysia. The party was preceded by the United Indigenous Association of Malaysia (). 2018 Johor State Election
The 14th Johor State election was held on 9 May 2018, concurrently with the 2018 Malaysian general election. The previous state election was held on 5 May 2013. The state assemblymen is elected to 5 years term each. The Johor State Legislative Assembly would automatically dissolve on 20 June 2018, the fifth anniversary of the first sitting, and elections must be held within sixty days (two months) of the dissolution (on or before 20 August 2018, with the date to be decided by the Election Commission), unless dissolved prior to that date by the Head of State (Sultan of Johor) on the advice of the Head of Government (Menteri Besar of Johor).
