''Pelotón'' (Spanish for "platoon") is a Chilean reality show on Televisión Nacional de Chile Televisión Nacional de Chile (TVN) is a Chilean public service broadcaster. It was founded by order of President Eduardo Frei Montalva and it was launched nationwide on 18 September 1969. Since then, the company has been reorganized on sever ... in which the participants undergo an intense regime of military training. The winner receives 50 million pesos. The first season aired January 2 – May 5, 2007, and the second season ran from October 2, 2007, to March 11, 2008. The third season were premiere in July 2009 and the contestants were Chilean celebrities. The third and 4th season were shooting back to back, and like last season the majority of participants were celebrities. Felipe Camiroaga
Felipe Humberto Camiroaga Fernández (8 October 1966 – 2 September 2011) was a Chilean television presenter, actor and comedian, one of the most popular in his country. Camiroaga hosted many shows for Chilean television station TVN, including the morning talk show '' Buenos Días a Todos'' and a late-night talk show ''Animal Nocturno''. He also acted in several TV series, such as ''Jaque Mate'' and ''Rojo y Miel'', and in two films. Camiroaga twice hosted the Viña del Mar International Song Festival in 2009 and 2010. He was nicknamed "Halcón de Chicureo" ("Falcon of Chicureo") because he bred falcons in his residence in Chicureo, a rural area north of Santiago. Camiroaga died on 2 September 2011 after the military plane which was taking him and twenty others to Juan Fernández Archipelago crashed in the sea. Rafael Araneda
Rafael Luis Araneda Maturana (born September 18, 1969, in Santiago) is a popular Chilean TV presenter, best known for his participation in the show Rojo Fama Contrafama as the host. Also he was the host of '' Estrellas en el Hielo'', ''Sin Prejuicios'', ''Rojo VIP'', ''Noche de Juegos'', ''El Baile en TVN'' (Chilean version of Strictly Come Dancing by the BBC).
