Pedro Reyes (footballer)
Pedro Antonio Reyes González (born 13 November 1972) is a Chilean football manager and former defender. Playing career He was capped 55 times and scored four goals for the Chile national team between 1994 and 2001, including four games at the 1998 FIFA World Cup. In that tournament, Chile played to a 2-2 tie with Italy. In the 2000 Summer Olympics, Reyes helped Chile capture the bronze in football. He retired on 1 May 2008. In his last match, he played with his World Cup's teammates Iván Zamorano, José Luis Sierra, Jorge Contreras, Javier Margas among others. The match was in Estadio Regional, Antofagasta. Coaching career Reyes graduated as a football manager at the (National Football Institute), alongside former footballers such as Dante Poli, Héctor Robles, among others. Pedro Reyes (comedian)
Pedro Reyes (8 May 1961 – 25 March 2015) was a Spanish comedian, humorist, actor and television presenter. He was known for his surreal humour and collaboration with in the 1980s. Biography Reyes was born in Tangier, Morocco, in 1961 but early on moved with his family to Huelva, Spain, the birth city of his mother. In 1977 he joined the theatre group Centuria. During the 1980s together with Pablo Carbonell, he formed the comedy duo Pedro y Pablo, working first out of Sevilla and later, in 1982, Madrid. The duo was discovered in the Buen Retiro Park in Madrid by an El País journalist, and soon afterwards they became recurring characters in the television show ''La Bola de Cristal''. In 1989 Reyes became co-host of the television show . Apart from his work in television and comedy he also appeared in movies and directed two theatre plays in 2013.
