Pedro Arraiza
Pedro Arraiza (born May 2, 1973 in Santurce, Puerto Rico) is a Puerto Rican musician most known for being the drummer of the Rock en Español band Fiel a la Vega. Biography and Career Pedro Arraiza is the youngest of the five children of Manuel Arraiza and Eneida González. Since he was 8 years old, he was pressed by his brothers Jorge and José to learn to play the drums in order to fill the vacant spot they had in their band. Arraiza then developed interest in bands like The Beatles and The Who. In 1989, after some practicing the brothers formed a band called ''Los Arraiza Voladores'', with cousin Emilio "Milo" Arraiza. At this time, he also developed an interest in Led Zeppelin, which would become his biggest influence. Dave Weckl (born January 8, 1960 in St. Louis, Missouri) is an American jazz fusion drummer and the leader of the Dave Weckl Band. He was inducted into the ''Modern Drummer'' Hall of Fame in 2000. Biography Weckl started playing his first set of drums at age 8 in his spare room along to records. He later played in the living room, sometimes with his father on piano. Weckl studied at the University of Bridgeport. Starting out on the New York fusion scene in the early 1980s, Weckl soon began working with artists such as Paul Simon, George Benson, Michel Camilo, Robert Plant, and Anthony Jackson. Simon Phillips (born 6 February 1957) is a US-based English jazz, fusion and rock drummer, songwriter, and record producer. He worked with rock bands during the 1970s and 1980s and was the drummer for the band Toto from 1992 to 2014. Rush (band)
Rush was a Canadian rock band formed in 1968 in Toronto, that was comprised primarily of Geddy Lee (bass, vocals), Alex Lifeson (guitar), and Neil Peart (drums, percussion, lyricist). The band formed in Toronto in 1968 by Lifeson, drummer John Rutsey, and bass guitarist/vocalist Jeff Jones, who was immediately replaced by Lee. Carter Beauford
Carter Anthony Beauford (born November 2, 1958) is an American drummer, percussionist, and founding member of Dave Matthews Band. He is known for his ability to adapt to a variety of genres, and both his ambidextrous and his open-handed drumming styles. He plays the drums and sings backing vocals in the band. Beauford was ranked number 10 by a ''Rolling Stone'' magazine reader's poll in 2010 for greatest drummers of all-time. Background Beauford was first exposed to the drums at age three.
