Peder Paulsen Balke
Peder Paulsen Balke (4 May 1779 – 6 September 1840) was a Norwegian farmer and non-commissioned officer in the military. He served as a representative at the Norwegian Constitutional Assembly. Peder Paulsen Balke was born in Østre Toten in Oppland, Norway. He became a soldier with the Søndenfieldske Dragon-Regiment in 1801. He was a corporal from 1808 and in 1814 was stationed at Kongsberg. In 1812, he married Mari Andersdatte (1789-1874). Balke took over father's farm Østre Balke in Østre Toten during 1813. He represented Søndenfieldske Dragon-Regiment at the Norwegian Constituent Assembly in 1814 together with Eilert Waldemar Preben Ramm Eilert Waldemar Preben Ramm (4 May 1769 – 15 March 1837) was a Norwegian military officer and representative at the Norwegian Constitutional Assembly in 1814. The Norwegian Constituent Assembly (in Norwegian ''Grunnlovsforsamlingen'', also known as ''Riksforsamlingen'') is the name given to the 1814 constitutional assembly at Eidsvoll in Norway, that adopted the Norwegian Constitution and formalised the dissolution of the union with Denmark. In Norway, it is often just referred to as ''Eidsvollsforsamlingen'', which means ''The Assembly of Eidsvoll''. Oppland
Oppland is a former county in Norway which existed from 1781 until its dissolution on 1 January 2020. The old Oppland county bordered the counties of Trøndelag, Møre og Romsdal, Sogn og Fjordane, Buskerud, Akershus, Oslo and Hedmark. The county administration was located in the town of Lillehammer. Merger On 1 January 2020, the neighboring counties of Oppland and Hedmark were merged to form the new Innlandet county. Eilert Waldemar Preben Ramm
Eilert Waldemar Preben Ramm (4 May 1769 – 15 March 1837) was a Norwegian military officer and representative at the Norwegian Constitutional Assembly in 1814. Background Eilert Ramm was born at the village of Furnes at Ringsaker in Hedmark, Norway. Ramm first joined the Zealand Light Dragon Regiment (''sjællandske lette dragonregimentet '') in 1787. He rose through the ranks, and was later First Lieutenant and Captain of the cavalry in 1808. Niels Fredriksen Dyhren (16 February 1778 – 25 August 1866) was a Norwegian farmer and non-commissioner military officer. He served as a representative at the Norwegian Constitutional Assembly in 1814. Niels Fredriksen Dyhren was born on the Dyhren farm in Østre Toten in Oppland, Norway. In 1800, he became a soldier with Jegerkorpset-Akershus Regiment and 1801 Corporal in the regimental artillery company. In 1814, he was a member of the Norske Jæger Corps and was a Corporal in Valderske skarpskytterbataillon. His time in service included the period of the Napoleonic Wars (1807-1809 and 1814).
