Pearl Harbor Elementary School
This is a list of elementary schools in the U.S. state of Hawaii. Honolulu Public Solomon Elementary School Solomon Elementary's namesake was a member of the Wolfhounds. The dedication of the original campus was on November 11, 1969 while the dedication of the current facility occurred on November 9, 2019. In the 2016-2017 school year it had 933 students. The Department of Defense’s Office of Economic Adjustment funded the construction of the current campus with a $70,248,901. The State of Hawaii added an additional $20,000,000 to the funding. The current campus has four buildings, with each up to two stories tall, and a capacity of above 800. These buildings have 63 classrooms total. Inouye Elementary School Inouye Elementary opened in 1959 as Hale Kula Elementary School, and it was given its current name on April 19, 2016. Hana High And Elementary School
Hāna High and Elementary School is a public school in Hana, Hawaii. A part of the Hawaii Department of Education (HIDOE), it was established in 1912 and serves kindergarten through twelfth grade. The campus boasts an untitled 1977 copper and bronze sculpture by Bumpei Akaji. History Circa 1964 HIDOE closed the Kaupo School in Kaupo due to low enrollment and moved the students to Hana School. In 1982 some landslides that happened that year obstructed the road to Kaupo, so Kaupo students were briefly taught at Kaupo School until the road reopened. Island School is a private, co-educational, college-preparatory school in Lihue, Hawaii, United States. It is located behind the University of Hawaii's Kauai Community College campus. History In January 1977, Island School began with 12 students ranging up to eighth grade. Within four years, enrollment was up to 68 and its high school had been established. Honolulu Waldorf School, established in 1961, is a coeducational, independent school serving more than 300 children from early childhood through middle school located on the island of Oahu in the State of Hawaii. It previously included high school levels. History The original Nursery through Grade 8 school was founded in 1961 and is located in Niu Valley. Punahou School (known as Oahu College until 1934) is a private, co-educational, college preparatory school in Honolulu, Hawaii. More than 3,700 students attend the school from kindergarten through twelfth grade, 12th grade. Protestant missionary, Protestant missionaries established Punahou in 1841.
