UN Peacemaker is a United Nations (UN) website for distributing information related to peace processes. The website, managed by the UN Department of Political Affairs (DPA), provides an interface to a database of peace agreements, guidance material and information on UN mediation support services. Albert Louis Hammond OBE (born 18 May 1944) is a British-Gibraltarian singer, songwriter, and record producer. A prolific songwriter, he also collaborated with other songwriters such as Mike Hazlewood, John Bettis, Diane Warren, Holly Knight and Carole Bayer Sager. ''21st Century Breakdown'' is the eighth studio album by American rock band Green Day, released on May 15, 2009, through Reprise Records. Green Day commenced work on the record in January 2006 and forty-five songs were written by vocalist/guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong by October 2007, but the band members did not enter studio work until January 2008.Fricke, p. 48 The album is a rock opera much like their previous album '' American Idiot'' (2004). Armstrong has described the album as a "snapshot of the era in which we live as we question and try to make sense of the selfish manipulation going on around us, whether it be the government, religion, media or frankly any form of authority". ''Plagues of Babylon'' is the eleventh studio album by American heavy metal band Iced Earth. Released in January 2014, the album is the group's first studio release with bassist Luke Appleton and the only with drummer Raphael Saini, who was a guest on the album. Sonata Arctica
Sonata Arctica is a Finnish power metal band from the town of Kemi, Finland. Created as a hard rock band named Tricky Beans, they later changed to Tricky Means and finally to Sonata Arctica, when they shifted to power metal. The current lineup consists of drummer Tommy Portimo, lead singer Tony Kakko, keyboardist Henrik Klingenberg, guitarist Elias Viljanen and bassist Pasi Kauppinen. All the musicians of the band's history except Portimo also acted as backing vocalists. '' Peacemaker '' is the third studio album by American heavy metal band Texas Hippie Coalition. It was released on August 14, 2012 and reached No. 20 on the ''Billboard'' Hard Rock Albums chart. The singles, "Damn You to Hell" and " Turn It Up", were the first by the band to chart on the ''Billboard'' Mainstream Rock chart, peaking at 40 and 39, respectively. Production The album was produced by Bob Marlette. Composition According to lead vocalist Big Dad Ritch, "Peacemaker", the title track from the album, was written from the perspective of a gun, due to many of his previous compositions being written from his point of view. He goes on to state that "I'm not using that gun to rob somebody, to take what they got, I'm gonna be using that gun to protect what's mine." Eamon McGrath
Eamon McGrath is a Canadian musician and writer from Edmonton, Alberta and currently based in Toronto, Ontario. On his own, his live performances are most often folk-oriented, where McGrath plays songs from his discography on acoustic instruments. However, with a band the live show takes on a much more high-energy, punk rock influenced vein. Career McGrath began recording on his own at his home in Toronto. In late 2008, he signed with White Whale Records. That year, he also began a rigid touring schedule which has continued for over ten years. Egon Ferdinand Ranshofen-Wertheimer (September 4, 1894 – December 27, 1957) was a diplomat, journalist, doctor of laws and state. Early life Egon Ferdinand Ranshofen-Wertheimer was born as the son of the Catholic land owner and member of the Upper Austrian parliament Julius Wertheimer in near Braunau am Inn, Austria . His family had Jewish roots, so they fled Austria in 1938 because of the growing threat of the Nazi government. His town of birth, Braunau am Inn, was also the birthplace of Adolf Hitler.
