Peace Proscovia Drajole Agondua (born 1 November 1989), commonly known as Peace Proscovia and nicknamed "Warid Tower", is a professional Ugandan netball player for Surrey Storm and the current captain of the Uganda national team. She began her professional career with Netball Superleague team Loughborough Lightning and has also played for Super Netball team Sunshine Coast Lightning. Internationally, she captained the Ugandan teams that won the 2013 Netball Singapore Nations Cup, and the 2017 African Netball Championship. Background and education She was born on 1 November 1989 in Arua, West Nile sub-region, in the Northern Region of Uganda, to a family with a total of seven children. 2019 Netball World Cup
The 2019 Netball World Cup (also known as the 2019 Vitality Netball World Cup for sponsorship reasons) was the 15th edition of the INF Netball World Cup. It was held from 12–21 July 2019 at the Liverpool Arena in Liverpool, England with matches being held on two courts. Host nation England finished their campaign with a bronze medal. New Zealand became 5th time champions after beating Australia in the final and gold medal match. Sixteen nations contested for the title, which included the top six of the previous tournament which was held in Sydney, Australia. After two group stage rounds, Australia, England, New Zealand and South Africa all made it to the semi-finals. Cara Koenen
Cara Koenen (born 27 February 1996) is an Australian netball player in the Suncorp Super Netball league, playing for the Sunshine Coast Lightning. Koenan was a foundation player at the Lightning ahead of the club's inaugural season in 2017. She has remained at the club since that time and was most recently re-signed for the 2020 season. Stephanie Wood (born 28 November 1991), also known as Steph Wood, is an Australia netball international. Wood was a member of the Australia teams that won the silver medals at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and at the 2019 Netball World Cup. Between 2015 and 2016, Wood played for New South Wales Swifts in the ANZ Championship. Since 2017 she has played for Sunshine Coast Lightning in Suncorp Super Netball. 2019 Suncorp Super Netball Season
The 2019 Suncorp Super Netball season was the third season of the premier netball league in Australia. The season began on 27 April and concluded on 15 September 2019, however it was suspended for most of the month of July due to the Netball World Cup, which was played in Liverpool. The New South Wales Swifts won the premiership, defeating two-time defending premiers Sunshine Coast Lightning by 17 goals in the Grand Final at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre. The Netball World Cup Sydney 2015 (NWC2015) was the 14th edition of the INF Netball World Cup, the premier competition in international netball.
