Pawan Kumar (born 29 October 1982) is an Indian film director, actor, producer, and screenwriter from the Cinema of Karnataka, Kannada film industry. Pawan Kumar is well known for writing the films ''Manasaare'' and ''Pancharangi''. His directorial debut ''Lifeu Ishtene'' (2011) and the 2013 psychological thriller ''Lucia (film), Lucia'' became one of the biggest turning points of his career. Being from a theatre background, he wrote scripts for plays on stage before working as an associate director with Yograj Bhat. He has also acted in the plays he wrote namely "The Final Reharsal" (2002) which is about an actor and reality television and "The woman in me" which is loosely based on the concept that there is a woman in every man and vice versa. Pawan Kumar (born 1 July 1990) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for I-League club Delhi. Career Youth and early career Born in Gurdaspur, Punjab, Kumar has played with several I-League clubs like JCT, Air India, and Salgaocar. While with JCT, Kumar led the side to the 2010 Durand Cup final where his side lost 1–0 to Chirag United at the Ambedkar Stadium. Also while with the club, Kumar was one of five players sent to England to train with the Wolverhampton Wanderers Academy for a week as part of a partnership Wolves had with JCT. Pawan Kumar (born 16 October 1993), also known as Pawan Saroha, is an Indian freestyle wrestler. He represented India at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in the 86 kg weight class in which he won the bronze medal. He also represented India at the 2014 Asian Games in the 86 kg weight class. His spouse is fellow wrestler Geeta Phogat. Personal life Kumar, also known as Pawan Saroha, married Geeta Phogat, an Olympic wrestler, on 20 November 2016.
