Andrejs Pavlovs
Andrejs Pavlovs (born 22 February 1979) is a Latvian former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Club career Pavlovs started his professional career at Policija Rīga. In 2001, he joined Skonto Rīga, but was mostly back-up for Andrejs Piedels during his four years at club. In 2005 Pavlovs signed a contract at FK Rīga. In Pavlovs's first season for FK Riga he played 22 out of the 28 league games. On 23 July 2008, Pavlovs joined Bulgarian A PFG side Levski Sofia on trial during their summer training camp in Austria. In December 2008 he was on trial at Kilmarnock. During the 2008–09 season Pavlovs was loaned to Shakhtyor Soligorsk in Belarus. After the loan return, he played for FK Ventspils. During the summer transfer window FK Ventspils signed two new goalkeepers - Pavel Chasnowski and Aleksandrs Koliņko - Pavlovs being left as the third choice keeper. Arkādijs Pavlovs
Arkādijs Pavlovs (2 February 1903, in Riga – 26 June 1960, in Riga) was a Latvian footballer and football manager, a five-time champion of Latvia. Biography Pavlovs began playing football while in refuge during World War I in Yekaterinoslav. After returning to Latvia he played with Marss Riga and Amatieris for a short period but in 1924 Pavlovs joined the most important club of his career - RFK. Playing with RFK Pavlovs won five Latvian Higher League titles and became a two-time winner of the Riga Football Cup. From 1924 to 1933 he played for the Latvia national football team in total making 37 appearances and scoring 9 goals . Palvovs was a member of the Latvian football team at the 1924 Summer Olympics. Pavlovs scored the first goal in the history of the Baltic Cup and won the first tournament with Latvia in 1928. Igors Pavlovs
Igors Pavlovs (born 1 January 1965 in Lipetsk, Russian SFSR, USSR) is retired professional Latvian ice hockey player. During his career he played for Dinamo Riga and later for various hockey teams in Germany. He also represented Latvia at international level. Coaching career After retiring as player Pavlovs became the coach of Krefeld Pinguine until he left on 29 April 2009, to join Kölner Haie who released him on 2 December 2009. In 2010-11 season he became assistant coach for Sibir of KHL. In October 2010, Pavlovs was named head coach of Spartak Moscow after Milos Rziga was fired due to a poor start to the season. In that December, after suffering a serious illness, and the team results not improving, Pavlovs was released from his post and named team scout. Vitālijs Pavlovs (born 17 June 1989) is a Latvian professional ice hockey player who is currently playing for the HK Dukla Michalovce of the Slovak Extraliga. Playing career Pavlovs signed a two-year contract with Dinamo Riga on August 9, 2012 and made his debut on December 5, 2012, in a loss to Yugra. Pavlovs started the 2012–13 season with Jokipojat in Mestis, he had 6 goals and 8 assists in 19 games which is good for 3rd place in points inside the team. Deniss Pavlovs (born 15 April 1983) is a Latvian tennis player playing on the ATP Challenger Tour. On 20 July 2009, he reached his highest ATP singles ranking of World No. 263, whilst his highest doubles ranking of 155 was reached on 23 September 2009. Pavlovs represents his native country Latvia while competing in the Davis Cup. He has a singles record of 7–7 and a doubles record of 9–6 for a combined record of 16–13 in Davis Cup play.
