Paulo Zucula
Paulo Zucula (born 1955) is a Mozambican politician and Mozambique's Minister of Transportation and Communication since March 2008. Biography Early life Born in 1955, Zucula studied agronomy at the Eduardo Mondlane University in Maputo, where he completed a B.Sc. degree. He pursued graduate studies at the University of Minnesota, receiving a M.Sc. degree. Career From 1990 to 1992, Zucula served as Deputy Minister of Agriculture for President Joaquim Chissano. Thereafter, from 1993 to 1995, he was a National Programme Manager for the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. In 2001, he became coordinator of the Regional Spatial Development Initiative of the Development Bank of Southern Africa. Esperança Machavela is a Mozambique, Mozambican jurist and politician. Machavela was appointed as Minister of Justice by President of Mozambique, President Armando Guebuza on February 11, 2005, when Guebuza named his new government shortly after taking office. Prior to her appointment, she had worked for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and had served as an ambassador to Portugal. Alcinda Abreu
Alcinda António de Abreu (born 13 October 1953) is a Mozambican politician. She was Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mozambique from 2005 to 2008, having previously been the Minister of Social Welfare. Armando Guebuza
Armando Emílio Guebuza (born 20 January 1943) is a Mozambican politician who was the third President of Mozambique from 2005 to 2015. Career Guebuza, born at Murrupula in Nampula Province, joined the Mozambique Liberation Front (FRELIMO) at the age of 20, shortly after it began Mozambique's war of independence against Portugal. By the time independence was achieved in 1975, Guebuza had become an important general and leader in FRELIMO. He became interior minister in the Samora Machel government and issued an order forcing most Portuguese residents to leave within 24 hours, known as the "24 20" order because the residents in question were restricted to 20 kilograms of luggage.
