Paul Zipser
Paul Victor Louis Zipser (born 18 February 1994) is a German professional basketball player for Bayern Munich of the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) and the EuroLeague. Standing at 2.03 m (6 ft 8 in), he plays at the small forward position. He was selected by the Chicago Bulls with the 48th overall pick in the 2016 NBA draft. Professional career Germany (2010–2016) Zipser began his professional career in his hometown with USC Heidelberg in 2010. In 2011–12, he averaged 7.9 points, 3 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game. He managed just two games for Heidelberg in 2012–13 due to injury. On 18 January 2013, he signed a four-year deal with Bayern Munich. On 21 April 2015, Zipser entered the 2015 NBA draft as an early-entrant, only to withdraw from it later. The small forward (SF), also known as the three or swingman, is one of the five positions in a regulation basketball game. Small forwards are typically shorter, quicker, and leaner than power forwards and centers but taller, larger, and stronger than either of the guard positions. Germany National Basketball Team
The Germany men's national basketball team (german: Deutsche Basketballnationalmannschaft or ''Die Mannschaft'') represents Germany in international basketball competition. The team is directed by the German Basketball Federation (''Deutscher Basketball Bund''), the governing body for basketball in Germany. Currently, Germany is ranked 8th in the FIBA World Rankings. Between 1949 and 1990, separate German national teams were recognised by FIBA due to Allied occupation. The (DBB) were representing the Federal Republic of Germany (named West Germany from 1949 to 1990), while the East Germany team represented the German Demorcratic Republic (1952–1990). The Liga ACB, known as Liga Endesa for sponsorship reasons, is the top professional basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system. Administrated by the Asociación de Clubs de Baloncesto (ACB), Liga ACB is contested by 18 teams, with the two lowest-placed teams relegated to the LEB Oro and replaced by the top team in that division plus the winner of the promotion playoffs. The NBA G League, or simply the G League, is the National Basketball Association's (NBA) official List of developmental and minor sports leagues, minor league basketball organization. The league was known as the National Basketball Development League (NBDL) from 2001 to 2005, and the NBA Development League (NBA D-League) from 2005 until 2017.
