Paul Vaden
Paul Vaden (born December 29, 1967) is an American former professional boxer who competed from 1991 to 2000, holding the IBF light middleweight title in 1995. He remains the only native San Diegan to become a professional world boxing champion. Amateur career Known as "Kid Ultimate", Vaden had a highly accomplished amateur career, compiling an outstanding amateur record of 327–10. Vaden was also a bronze medal winner in the 71 kg (156 lbs) division at the 1990 Goodwill Games. Carl Daniels
Carl Bryant Daniels (born August 26, 1970 in St. Louis, Missouri), is an American professional boxer in the Light Middleweight (154 lb) division. He held the WBA Light Middleweight title in 1995. Amateur Southpaw Daniels won the junior world championships 1987 and the Golden Gloves at flyweight. He was a US feather champ in 1988 and beat Kevin Kelley in the Olympic trials. His record: 170-7. Pro Daniels, nicknamed "The Squirrel", turned pro in 1988 and in 1992 landed a shot at the WBC Light Middleweight Title against Terry Norris. Norris won via TKO. In 1995, he fought Julio César Green for the Vacant WBA Light Middleweight Title and won a decision. In his first defense, he lost the title to Julio César Vásquez via 11th round TKO. Keith Holmes (boxer)
Keith Pickett Holmes (born March 30, 1969) is an American former boxer. Professional career Holmes began his pro career in 1989 and captured the WBC Middleweight Title by scoring a TKO over Quincy Taylor in 1996. He defended the title twice before losing the belt to Hassine Cherifi in 1998, a decision loss in which he dropped Cherifi once. In 1999, Holmes landed a rematch with Cherifi and regained the belt via a 7th-round TKO. Holmes again defended the title twice before losing the belt to middleweight legend Bernard Hopkins in a clear-cut decision loss as part of the Middleweight World Championship Series unification tournament.
