Paul Sabu
Paul Sabu (born January 2, 1960) is an American singer, songwriter, producer, and guitarist. He is the son of Indian-born film star Sabu and American actress Marilyn Cooper. Career He first burst onto the music scene in the late 1970s, as a writer, producer and performer of Disco hits. He scored big club hits with Ann-Margret, Debbie Jacobs and Sister Power featuring Gwen Jonae. However, Sabu is best known for his work with his band ''Only Child'' plus collaborations with a long list of artists including Lee Aaron, David Bowie, Little Caesar, Alice Cooper, Jesse Damon, Elvira, Fatal Smile, Madonna, Malice, Motels, The Nelsons, Robbie Neville, Prince, Silent Rage, Tattoo Rodeo, Wendi Brudvik, Teri Tims, Throne of Vengeance, Shania Twain, John Waite, and many more. ''Hey Stoopid'' is the twelfth solo studio album by American rock singer Alice Cooper, released on July 2, 1991, by Epic Records. After his smash 1989 hit album ''Trash'', Cooper attempted to continue his success with his follow-up album, which features guest performances from Lance Bulen, Slash, Ozzy Osbourne, Vinnie Moore, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Nikki Sixx and Mick Mars (both of Mötley Crüe). ''Hey Stoopid'' was Cooper's last album to feature bassist Hugh McDonald before he joined Bon Jovi in 1994. According to Cooper assistant Brian Renfield, an alternate cover was originally considered, described by Renfield as being "hardcore with hypo needles, pills..." ''A Child's Wish'' is a 1997 American made-for-television drama film based on actual events. John Ritter stars as a father of a terminally ill 16-year-old girl portrayed by Anna Chlumsky. Plot Ritter portrays Ed Chandler, a father who is fired from his job for taking time off to tend to his 16-year-old daughter Missy (Chlumsky), who is battling cancer. ''The Accused'' is a 1988 American legal drama film directed by Jonathan Kaplan from a screenplay written by Tom Topor. The film is loosely based on the 1983 gang rape of Cheryl Araujo in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Set in Washington state, but filmed mainly in Vancouver, British Columbia, the film stars Jodie Foster as Sarah Tobias, a young waitress, who is gang raped by three men at a local bar. "Wot's It to Ya" is the third single by American musician Robbie Nevil from his self-titled debut album, released as a single in May 1987 by Manhattan Records. It peaked at number 10 on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100. Lyrics and writing The song is about an ex who jilted the singer and then wants to know how he's been, to which the reply is "wot's it to ya". At the end of recording the album, Nevil thought had finished, having cut all the songs. He said that producer Alex Sadkin said "You know what? We still don't have it." I'd be like, "We still don't have what?" And he goes, "We still don't have the first single." Sadkin told Nevil "Always come from the school of you don't have your first single, and always try to the bitter end to come up with something even better."
