Paul Jeffrey Russell (born November 28, 1997) is an American rapper based in Los Angeles. He is best known for his 2023 single " Lil Boo Thang", which peaked at number 14 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100. After the song gained virality on TikTok, he signed with Arista Records to release it as a commercial single for the label. Before pursuing a musical career, Russell worked as a business analyst and corporate advertiser. Early life and education Russell was born in 1997. He grew up in the suburbs of Atlanta but attended Allen High School in Allen, Texas. During his adolescence, he started listening to alternative rock, while also being exposed to Christian hip-hop, mainly through Lecrae's music. Russell graduated from Cornell University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial relations. The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is an annual parade in New York City presented by the U.S.-based department store chain Macy's. The Parade first took place in 1924, tying it for the second-oldest Thanksgiving parade in the United States with America's Thanksgiving Parade in Detroit (with both parades being four years younger than Philadelphia's Thanksgiving Day Parade). The three-hour parade is held in Manhattan, ending outside Macy's Herald Square, takes place from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on Thanksgiving Day, and has been televised nationally on NBC since 1953. The Parade's workforce is made up of Macy's employees and their friends and family, all of whom work as volunteers.
