Paul Polillo
Paul Polillo (born April 24, 1967) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He played in the Colonial Hockey League (later renamed the United Hockey League) for nine seasons, winning the UHL Most Valuable Player Award three years in succession. Playing career Born in Brantford, Ontario, Polillo played college hockey with Western Michigan University from 1986 until 1990, and was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 1988 NHL Supplemental Draft. After college, he played professionally in Italy with Latemor for two seasons. In 1992, he joined the Brantford Smoke of the Colonial league, where he played until 1998, with one tryout with the Denver Grizzlies in 1994–95. He then played three seasons with the Port Huron Border Cats, before retiring from professional hockey. Brantford
Brantford (Canada 2021 Census, 2021 population: 104,688) is a city in Ontario, Canada, founded on the Grand River (Ontario), Grand River in Southwestern Ontario. It is surrounded by County of Brant, Brant County, but is politically separate with a municipal government of its own that is fully independent of the county's municipal government. Brantford is situated on the Haldimand Tract, traditional territory of the Neutral Nation, Neutral, Mississaugas, Mississauga, and Haudenosaunee peoples. The city is named after Joseph Brant, an important Mohawk leader, soldier, farmer and slave owner. The All-CCHA Teams are composed of players at all positions from teams that are members of the Central Collegiate Hockey Association, an NCAA Division I ice hockey, hockey-only Athletic conference, conference that first existed from 1971 to 2013 and was revived in 2021. Kip Miller
Kip Charles Miller (born June 11, 1969) is an American former ice hockey forward. He last played for the American Hockey League Grand Rapids Griffins in 2006–07. He was drafted by the Quebec Nordiques as their 4th-round pick in the 1987 NHL Entry Draft, 72nd overall. Playing career Miller was born in Lansing, Michigan, and played college hockey for the Michigan State University Spartans. During his college career he registered 116 goals, 145 assists and 261 points, leading the CCHA in scoring for two consecutive seasons. Miller was awarded the Hobey Baker Memorial Award in 1990, the first Spartan to receive the honor. Miller's cousin, goaltender Ryan Miller, was the second Spartan to win the Hobey Baker Award in 2001. Dave Alan Capuano (born July 27, 1968) is a retired American professional ice hockey left winger. Capuano was born in Warwick, Rhode Island, but grew up in Cranston, Rhode Island. Now he lives with his Wife Lori, and his 2 kids Jaclyn and Max. Playing career Capuano played for the University of Maine for three seasons from 1986–1989. He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the second round of the 1986 NHL Entry Draft, 25th overall. His first NHL game was during the 1989–90 season, when he played 6 games for the Penguins. He was traded to the Vancouver Canucks on January 8, 1990 in a trade that sent Capuano, Andrew McBain and Dan Quinn to the Canucks for Rod Buskas, Barry Pederson and Tony Tanti. Steve Johnson (ice Hockey)
Steve Johnson (born March 3, 1966) is an American ice hockey coach and former wing who was an All-American for North Dakota. Career Johnson joined the ice hockey program at North Dakota for the 1984–85 season. He produced modest numbers in his first two campaigns for the Sioux, helping the team to good but unspectacular finishes. The return of Tony Hrkac and the arrival of Ed Belfour changed the team's fortunes and Johnson was a beneficiary. For his junior season, Johnson's scoring production soared and he nearly tripled his career totals. He finished third on the team in scoring and led the Fighting Sioux to a WCHA title. UND won the NCAA Championship that year and ended up with 40 wins, setting a new NCAA record in the process (only 1993 Maine has won more games). List Of NCAA Division I Ice Hockey Scoring Champion
The NCAA Scoring Champion is the player who scored the most points in official NCAA games over the course of the season. Because the NCAA does not have a set standard number of games that each team must play, the scoring champion skews towards some teams rather than others (The Ivy League teams, for instance, do not start their seasons until almost a month after the official start of the NCAA season). Additionally, points scored in both conference and league tournament games are included, slanting the scoring titles towards players on teams that perform the best in the postseason. Several Players have won the league scoring title multiple times but only Phil Latreille has led the NCAA in scoring three separate times. Impressively, Latreille did so by averaging more than 4 points per game in each of the three seasons. Tony Hrkac
Anthony John Hrkac (; born July 7, 1966) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player of Croatian and Ukrainian ancestry who played eighteen seasons of professional hockey. Playing career Collegiate Hrkac was drafted in the second round, 32nd overall, by the St. Louis Blues in the 1984 NHL Entry Draft.
