Paul Meijer (politician)
Paul Meijer (25 October 1967) is a Dutch politician who was the leader and chairman of the regional ''Forza!'' Netherlands party. Since 2021 he has been a member of '' Belang van Nederland''. In November 2022, the court of North Holland ordered Paul Meijer to repay more than €32,691.95 to his former party ''Forza!''. The judge considered it proven that Meijer had systematically embezzled party funds between 2017 and 2020 and spent it on private matters. Political career Pim Fortuyn List Meijer began his political in the Pim Fortuyn List (LPF). He was elected as a councilor in the municipality of Haarlemmermeer for the LPF and represented the local government sector on the party's national council. ''Forza!'' Dronten
Dronten () is a municipality and a town in the central Netherlands, in the province of Flevoland. It had a population of in . History Plans for the municipality of Dronten were made in the early half of the 1950s; real plans for the town of Dronten (the municipality's center) were revealed in 1958. The foundations for the town were laid in 1960. Right from the start there was a discussion whether Dronten was to become a town or a city. The first plans assumed 15,000 inhabitants, while later plans foresaw a growth to 30,000 inhabitants. The first plans for the municipality assumed ten smaller villages situated around the central town (in this case, Dronten). The number of villages was reduced because of increased motorized traffic and experiences gained in developing the Noordoostpolder, where a similar municipality had already been built. Wybren Ridley van Haga (born 31 January 1967) is a Dutch politician and engineer who has been a member of the House of Representatives since 2017. He was initially elected as a member of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD), but was expelled from the party in 2019, causing the third Rutte cabinet to lose its parliamentary majority. Van Haga subsequently sat as an independent MP before joining Thierry Baudet's Forum for Democracy party, where he was placed second on the party list in the 2021 election. Hilbrand Pier Anne Nawijn (born 8 August 1948) is a Dutch lawyer and politician of the local political party Lijst Hilbrand Nawijn (LHN) in Zoetermeer. From 2002 to 2004, he served as a Member of the House of Representatives for the Pim Fortuyn List party and from 2006 for the Party for the Netherlands.
