Paul Mark Elliott
Paul Mark Elliott is a British actor who has appeared in several television comedies and dramas. He is sometimes credited as Mark Elliott, or with the hyphen in his first name as Paul-Mark Elliot. He had several small parts in shows during the 1980s, including in ''Blake's 7'', ''The Comic Strip Presents'' (The Yob), '' Sister Said'' (with Daniel Peacock) and ''Blackadder Goes Forth''. He also appears in Lovejoy (pig in a poke). After appearing in the 1991 episode of ''Press Gang'' “Holding On”, he went on to play estate agent Trevor, Becky's (Fiona Gillies) lover, in two seasons of Steven Moffat’s ''Joking Apart''. As the crazed guitarist Bernie Cosmos he destroyed VU meters in the partially-improvised comedy 1994 film '' There's No Business...'', starring Raw Sex (Simon Brint and Rowland Rivron) and The Oblivion Boys. Blake's 7
''Blake's 7'' (sometimes styled ''Blakes7'') is a British science fiction television programme produced by the BBC. Four 13-episode series were broadcast on BBC1 between 1978 and 1981. It was created by Terry Nation, who also wrote the first series, produced by David Maloney (series 1–3) and Vere Lorrimer (series 4), and the script editor throughout its run was Chris Boucher, who wrote nine of its episodes. The main character for the first two series was Roj Blake, played by Gareth Thomas. ''Blake's 7'', which was broadcast in 25 other countries, had a low budget but featured many tropes of space opera, such as spaceships, robots, galactic empires and aliens. Critical responses have been varied; some reviewers praised the programme for its dystopian themes, strong characterisation, ambiguous morality and pessimistic tone, as well as displaying an "enormous sense of fun", but others have criticised its production values, dialogue, and accused it of lacking originality. ... Absolutely Fabulous
''Absolutely Fabulous'' (also known as ''Ab Fab'') is a British television sitcom based on the ''French and Saunders'' sketch, "Modern Mother and Daughter", created by Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders. The show was created and written by Saunders, who also stars as one of the main characters with Joanna Lumley and Julia Sawalha. The series features Edina Monsoon, a heavy-drinking, drug-abusing PR agent who spends her time failing to lose weight and chasing bizarre fads in a desperate attempt to stay young and "hip". Edina is joined by magazine fashion director Patsy Stone, whose drug abuse, alcohol consumption and desperate promiscuity far eclipse Edina's. Edina is reliant upon the support of her daughter Saffron, a student and aspiring writer whose constant care of her immature mother has left her a bitter cynic.
