Paul Leyden
Paul Augustine Leyden (born 16 December 1972) is an Australian actor, producer, screenwriter and director. He is best known for playing the role of Simon Frasier on the daytime soap opera ''As the World Turns''. He played Simon in the 2009 mini-series "Maneater". He also had a brief stint on ''The Young and the Restless'' as "Blake". Leyden was born and raised in Melbourne by his parents, John and Ros Leyden. He is one of five children. The actor starred in the mini-series ''Tribe'', and can be seen in episodes of ''Farscape'', '' BeastMaster'', '' Law & Order: Special Victims Unit'' and ''Home and Away''. Personal life Leyden's hobbies include playing outdoor sports, the saxophone, and guitar. He is married to Alexia Barlier, having done so in 2018. They have a daughter and live in Los Angeles. Alexia Barlier (born 21 December 1982) is a French actress. Life and career Barlier was born to a mother from New Zealand who worked as a classical dancer and yoga teacher. Her father ran art galleries. She was brought up in both the French and English languages. Parallel to school, she attended the Cours Simon in Paris, where she received her acting training. Barlier made her film debut in 2002 as Kate in 24 Hours in the Life of a Woman. In the 2006-07, she performed at Théâtre Montparnasse in Paris in La Danse de l'Albatros by Gérald Sibleyras. ''Farscape'' is an Australian-American science fiction television series, produced originally for the Nine Network. It premiered in the US on Sci-Fi Channel's SciFi Friday, 19 March 1999, at 8:00 pm EST as their anchor series. The series was conceived by Rockne S. O'Bannon and produced by The Jim Henson Company and Hallmark Entertainment.
