Paul Jutras
Paul Jutras is a Canadian film editor who has also worked in the music video and advertising industries. In the early 2000s, Jutras edited the music video " Qu'est ce que ca peut ben faire" by Eric Lapointe. In 2002, director Bernard Nadeau won an ADISQ award for the video. Jutras subsequently edited the 2005 film ''C.R.A.Z.Y.'' under director Jean-Marc Vallée. For ''C.R.A.Z.Y.'', Jutras won the Genie Award for Best Editing in March 2006, and the Jutra Award for Editing. However, in 2008 when Vallée reassembled much of his crew for his next film ''The Young Victoria'', Jutras was replaced by Jill Bilcock. When Paul Arcand made his documentary film ''Québec sur ordonnance'', he turned to Jutras for help with editing, and Arcand said they had great conversations in their work. The Canadian Screen Award for Best Achievement in Editing is awarded by the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television to the best Canadian film editor in a feature film. The award was presented for the first time in 1966 as part of the Canadian Film Awards, and was transitioned to the new Genie Awards in 1980. Since 2012 it has been presented as part of the Canadian Screen Awards. ''Voir'' was a francophone alternative weekly newspaper in Montreal, Quebec, published by Communications Voir. ''Voir'' was founded by Pierre Paquet in November 1986. The first issue of the newspaper was published on 27 November 1986. Later on the newspaper developed various local issues with more targeted content. In 2013, the newspaper dropped from weekly to biweekly publication. On April 29, 2015, it was announced that all shares owned by Paquet were purchased by a group of buyers composed of XPND Capital, a Quebec-based private equity firm, and two members of ''Voirs management team, Michel Fortin and Hugues Mailhot.
