Paul Judson
Paul B. Judson (April 10, 1934 – June 5, 2023) was an American basketball player. He was selected as the twelfth pick in the 1956 NBA draft, but did not play in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Basketball In high school, he helped lead Alden-Hebron High School to the 1952 Illinois high school basketball state championship. Judson served as the team captain for the 1955–56 Illinois Fighting Illini men's basketball team and helped guide them to an 18–4 record. He was named an honorable mention All-American by the Associated Press in his final college season. Personal life His brother, Howie Judson, played for the Chicago White Sox from 1948 to 1952 and the Cincinnati Redlegs from 1953 to 1954. Twin brother Phil Judson was also teammate on the same Fighting Illini basketball teams. Uncle to former Northern Illinois University head coach, Rob Judson. Rob is the son of Phil. Guard (basketball)
In the sport of basketball, there are five players play per team, each assigned to positions. Historically, these players have been assigned, to positions defined by the role they play on the court, from a strategic point of view. The three main positions are guard, forward, and center, with the standard team featuring two guards, two forwards, and a center. Howie Judson
Howard Kolls Judson (February 16, 1925 – August 18, 2020) was an American professional baseball player. He was a right-handed pitcher in the Major Leagues from 1948 to 1954 for the Chicago White Sox and Cincinnati Redlegs. Altogether, the , hurler played 14 seasons (1946–59) of professional baseball, including minor league service. Born in Hebron, Illinois, Judson attended the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign. He served very briefly in the United States Navy during World War II receiving an honorable discharge after just over three months due to his left eye injury problem. Judson lost 37 of his 54 Major League decisions, for a winning percentage of .315. In 1949, he lost 14 of his 15 decisions for the sixth-place White Sox, and never posted a winning record in the Majors. 1954–55 Illinois Fighting Illini Men's Basketball Team
The 1954–55 Illinois Fighting Illini men’s basketball team represented the University of Illinois. Regular season Head coach Harry Combes, in his eighth year at Illinois, directed a youthful team with only three returning seniors, none of which were regular players. Combes' team, once again, was primarily made of sophomores and juniors recruited from the state of Illinois. The 1954-55 team had some talented juniors including the return of twin brothers, Paul and Phil Judson from Hebron, Illinois, Bruce Brothers and Bill Ridley. It also added sophomores George Bon Salle, Bill Altenberger, Hiles Stout, and future Illini head coach, Harv Schmidt. The 1953–54 Illinois Fighting Illini men’s basketball team represented the University of Illiniois. Regular season In his seventh year at University of Illinois, Illinois, Harry Combes continued to offer the fans of the Fighting Illini a successful team that they could be follow across the country to record crowds. The 1953-54 team returned one of the most dominant players in the NCAA, Johnny Kerr, Johnny ''"Red"'' Kerr. During the season, Kerr shattered Illinois’ single-season scoring record by tallying 556 points in his senior year. Big Ten Conference

Rob Judson
Rob Judson (born January 13, 1958) is an American men's basketball coach who is currently an assistant coach at Illinois State. He was the head coach at the Northern Illinois University from 2001 to 2007 and held assistant positions at Bradley, Illinois, and Indiana. He played college basketball at the University of Illinois from 1976 to 1980. Inducted into the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association's Hall of Fame as a player in 1990.
