Paul Harris (film Critic)
Paul Harris, born in 1950 in Melbourne and educated at Assumption College, Kilmore, is a film critic, who appears on radio stations 3RRR and 3AW. Known for his vast knowledge of film, music and theatre, and for his elaborate puns and impressions, he has fronted the radio show ''Filmbuff's Forecast'' since 1982. For the first ten years he co-anchored with John Flaus to produce what became a memorable double act. He has directed the St Kilda Short Film Festival since 1999. Assumption College, Kilmore
Assumption College (often known as ACK, where the K stands for Kilmore) is an Australian Catholic co-educational secondary day and boarding school. The school is located in the town of Kilmore, Victoria. The College was founded in 1893 by the Marist Brothers and is part of a network of Marist schools in Australia and throughout the world. Assumption College first took in boarders 1901 to meet the educational needs of Catholic families throughout regional Victoria and southern New South Wales. Established initially as a boys' school primarily accepting boarders, the proportion of day students has progressively grown since the 1970s and boarding numbers have diminished. 3RRR
3RRR (pronounced "Three Triple R", or simply "Triple R") is an Australian community radio station, based in Melbourne. 3RRR first commenced broadcasting in 1976 from the studios of 3ST, the student radio station of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (now RMIT University), on an educational licence with the name 3RMT. In 1979 it relocated to Fitzroy, and adopted its present name. During the late 1970s and early 1980s, it became synonymous with the post punk and new wave subcultures.
