Paul Fisher (cricketer, Born 1954)
Paul Bernard Fisher (born 19 December 1954) is an English educationalist, who served as headmaster of Loughborough Grammar School between 1998 and 2016, and who previously played first-class cricket for Middlesex, Worcestershire and Oxford University. As a cricketer, he was very much a specialist wicket-keeper, with a batting average in single figures in both forms of the game. Fisher was born in Edmonton, Middlesex. and was educated at St Ignatius' College and Christ Church, Oxford, where he read '' Literae Humaniores''. In August 1973, aged 18, he kept wicket for Middlesex Young Cricketers against Buckinghamshire Young Amateurs at Hoovers Sports Ground, Wembley; the Middlesex side also included a 16-year-old Mike Gatting. Paul Gavin Breedon Fisher (born 17 May 1977) is an English cricketer. Fisher is a right-handed batsman who bowls slow left-arm orthodox. He was born in Leicester, Leicestershire. Fisher represented the Leicestershire Cricket Board in 3 List A matches. These came against Hertfordshire in the 1999 NatWest Trophy, the Durham Cricket Board in the 2000 NatWest Trophy and the Warwickshire Cricket Board in the 2001 Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy. In his 3 List A matches, he scored a single run, took 2 catches and took a single wicket at a bowling average of 124.00, with best figures of 1/18. He currently plays club cricket for Loughborough Town Cricket Club in the Leicestershire Premier Cricket League. Paul Gregory Fisher (born 7 September 1958) is a British economist, who left the Bank of England in July 2016 after 26 years service. In September 2016 he was appointed chair of the London Bullion Market Association and in December 2016, he became a non-executive director at the UK Debt Management Office. Fisher has been a visiting professor at Richmond, The American International University in London since 2012; and is a senior research fellow in the new DAFM Centre of the Business School at King's College London.
