Paul Duke STEM High School (PDS HS) is a senior high school located on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard in the Peachtree Corners/ Norcross area in Georgia. It is a part of Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS). The school's mascot is the TrailBlazers. History Paul Duke, which opened in 2018 with grades 9–11, with 650 prospective students as of August 2018, has a STEM focus. Built for $38 million, it relieved Norcross High School; as of 2018 it only takes students in the Norcross High attendance zone including Peachtree Corners, and therefore is not yet a magnet school In the U.S. education system, magnet schools are public schools with specialized courses or curricula. Peachtree Corners
Peachtree Corners is a city in Gwinnett County, Georgia, United States. It is part of the Atlanta metropolitan area, and is the largest city in Gwinnett County with a population of 42,243 as of the 2020 US Census. Peachtree Corners is the only Atlanta northern suburb developed as a planned community. The city is bordered to the north and west by the Chattahoochee River and is located east of Dunwoody. History Settlement Prior to 1818, the western corner of what became Gwinnett County was Creek and Cherokee territory, and it was illegal for white families to settle there.
