Paul Coughlin
Paul Coughlin (born 23 October 1992) is an English cricketer. Coughlin is a right-handed batsman who bowls right-arm medium pace. He was born at Sunderland, County Durham, and was educated at St Robert of Newminster Catholic Comprehensive School. Coughlin made his debut in minor counties cricket for Northumberland against Staffordshire in 2011 MCCA Knockout Trophy. He also made a single appearance in that seasons Minor Counties Championship against Staffordshire. During the 2012 season, Coughlin made his first-class debut for Durham against the touring Australia A team at the Riverside Ground. He ended Durham's first-innings of 197 all out unbeaten on 29, the second highest score of the innings. In the tourists first-innings of 159 all out, he took his maiden wicket, that of Michael Klinger. He was dismissed for 3 runs in Durham's second-innings of 185 all out by Jon Holland. Sunderland, Tyne And Wear
Sunderland () is a port city in Tyne and Wear, England. It is the City of Sunderland's administrative centre and in the historic county of Durham. The city is from Newcastle-upon-Tyne and is on the River Wear's mouth to the North Sea. The river also flows through Durham roughly south-west of Sunderland City Centre. The National Counties Cricket Association Knockout Cup was started in 1983 as a knockout one-day competition for the National Counties in English cricket. At first it was known as the ''English Industrial Estates Cup'', before being called the ''Minor Counties Knock Out Competition'' from 1986 to 1987, the ''Holt Cup'' from 1988 to 1992, the ''MCC Trophy'' from 1993 to 1998, the ''ECB 38-County Cup'' from 1999 to 2002, the ''MCCA Knockout Trophy'' from 2003 to 2005. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. Worcestershire County Cricket Club is one of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Worcestershire. The 2022 County Championship (referred to as the LV= Insurance County Championship for sponsorship reasons) was the 122nd cricket County Championship season in England and Wales. The season began on 7 April and ended on 29 September 2022. Warwickshire were the defending champions. Jon Holland
Jonathan Mark Holland (born 29 May 1987) is an Australian cricketer. He is a slow left-arm orthodox bowler and a right-handed tail-end batsman. Early career Holland made his state cricket debut for Victoria in October 2008. He only played four first-class games in the 2008–09 Sheffield Shield season and didn't secure a permanent place in Victoria's first-class team, as he had to compete for a place in the team with the much older spin bowler Bryce McGain. However, he made his debut at a time when Australia lacked top-level spin bowlers, so he was rushed into Australia's second-level team, Australia A, for a series against Pakistan A in June 2009. Michael Klinger
Michael Klinger (born 4 July 1980) is an Australian former first-class cricketer, who held the record for the most runs scored in the Big Bash League when he retired in 2019. Until the 2008–09 season, Klinger played for Victoria and for St Kilda Cricket Club in Premier Cricket. He joined the South Australia Redbacks for the 2008–09 season, was named their Captain in 2010, and was recognised as the State Player of the Year in both 2009 and 2010. He was one of the 350 players under the hammer for the IPL Auction 2011, and was bought by Kochi Tuskers Kerala. In cricket, a batter is not out if they come out to bat in an innings and have not been dismissed by the end of an innings. The batter is also ''not out'' while their innings is still in progress. The Riverside Ground, known for sponsorship reasons as the Seat Unique Riverside, is a cricket venue in Chester-le-Street, County Durham, England. It is home to Durham County Cricket Club, and has also hosted several international matches. History Durham's acceptance into first-class cricket in 1991 was made conditional on the building of a new Test match-standard cricket ground.
