Warrant Officer Class 1 Paul Christopher Carney (born November 1979) is a senior British Army soldier. Since 2021, he has served as the Army Sergeant Major, the most senior warrant officer and member of the other ranks in the British Army. Gosport
Gosport ( ) is a town and non-metropolitan borough on the south coast of Hampshire, South East England. At the 2011 Census, its population was 82,662. Captain (Capt) is a junior officer rank of the British Army and Royal Marines and in both services it ranks above lieutenant and below major with a NATO ranking code of OF-2.
