Patty Spivot (Shantel VanSanten)
Patricia "Patty" Spivot is a fictional character who appears in various DC Comics publications and was created by writer Cary Bates and artist Irv Novick. She is a friend and partner of the second Flash, Barry Allen. She first appeared in "Five-Star Super-Hero Spectacular" ('' DC Special Series'' #1, September 1977). Spivot appeared as a recurring cast member on The CW television series second season of ''The Flash'' played by Shantel VanSanten. This version is a detective of the Central City Police Department. The Flash (comic Book)
''The Flash'' is an ongoing American comic book series featuring the DC Comics superhero of the same name. Throughout its publication, the series has primarily focused on two characters who have worn the mantle of the Flash: Barry Allen, the second Flash (1959–1985, 2010–2020), and Wally West, the third Flash (1987–2006, 2007–2008, 2021–present). The series began at issue #105, picking up its issue numbering from the anthology series ''Flash Comics'' which had featured Jay Garrick as the first Flash. Although the Flash is a mainstay in the DC Comics stable, the series has been canceled and restarted several times. David Singh is a fictional character who appears in various DC Comics publications. He is Crime Lab Director for the Central City Police Department, who takes Barry Allen into his lab on Captain Frye's orders. Singh appears as a recurring cast member on The CW Arrowverse television series ''The Flash'' played by Patrick Sabongui. This version is initially the Captain and later Chief of Police of the Central City Police Department. The character also guest starred in an episode of the fifth season of ''Arrow''. The Turtle is the name of two supervillains appearing in comic books published by DC Comics, who were primarily enemies of the Flash. Two versions of the Turtle made their live action debut on ''The Flash'', portrayed by Aaron Douglas and Vanessa Walsh. In DC Comics' DC Universe, a metahuman is a human with superpowers. The term is roughly synonymous with both ''mutant'' and ''mutate'' in the Marvel Universe and ''posthuman'' in the Wildstorm and Ultimate Marvel Universes. In DC Comics, the term is used loosely in most instances to refer to any human-like being with extranormal powers and abilities, either cosmic, mutant, science, mystic, skill or tech in nature. A significant portion of these are normal human beings born with a genetic variant called the "metagene", which causes them to gain powers and abilities during freak accidents or times of intense psychological distress.
