Pattikaattu Ponnaiya
''Pattikaattu Ponnaiya'' () is a 1973 Indian Tamil-language film, directed by B. S. Ranga. The film stars M. G. Ramachandran, Jayalalithaa and Rajasree. It was the last film to feature Ramachandran and Jayalalithaa together. Plot As the farmer Ponnaiya puts a lot into the fields, he takes to heart the responsibility that his father, Nathamai Nalasivam delegates to him, as the twin younger brother of Ponnaiya, Muthaiya, studying in agronomy, lets go of himself and does not really get involved in his studies, because his spirit is monopolised somewhere else. Muthaiya, who gives the news no more, worries his family. Ponnaiya, who absolutely has to pay off a big debt in Pannaiyar Paramasivam, travels towards the capital to earn money and especially find his brother Muthaiya. Rajasree (Rajasree Thota Panchajanyam, Kusuma Kumari, born 31 August 1945), also known as Rajasri or Rajashri, is an Indian actress active from 1956 to 1979. She is particularly famous for her portrayal as a princess in several folklore Telugu movies opposite N. T. Rama Rao and Tadepalli Lakshmi Kanta Rao and for acting alongside Ravichandran in the Tamil comedy films ''Neeyum Naanum'', ''Kadhalikka Neram Illai'' and ''Delhi Mappilai''. Pulavar Pulamaipithan (6 October 1935 – 8 September 2021) was an Indian scholar, poet and lyricist who got recognition through the song "Naan yaar nee yaar" which was featured in the Tamil film ''Kudiyirundha Koyil'' in 1968. He briefly served as the presidium chairman of AIADMK from 2002 to 2003, when he resigned citing ill-health. Biography Pulamaipithan was born in Irugur, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu on 6 October 1935. At the early age Pulavar used to work in textile mill known as Combodia mills in Coimbatore and also studied his Tamil literature in Tava Tiru Shanthalinga Adigalar Perur Tamil Kaluri Coimbatore. Pandu (19 February 1947 – 6 May 2021) was an Indian Tamil actor and graphic designer who appeared in many comedy roles in Tamil cinema. He made his acting debut in the film ''Maanavan'' (1970). A Doctor of Philosophy graduate in arts from France, he was also a visual artist who founded Capital Letters, a graphic designing company.
